I just signed up ebay, and wish to sell something on ebay. But I don't have ideas on what to sell actually. I talked with the ebay consultant specialist, she told me to sell baby clothes and toddler clothes. According to her, they are selling fast items, but I am still doubting her words. If you were me,what would you sell? Please give me some ideas. I want to come out with something cheap and low modal. Any? Please comment, thanks.

I just got on ebay and added my collection of hand painted tote bags. There weren't many of that kind on there which I thought was a benefit to me. I'm thinking about adding some of my jewelry and other things later on.

Hello. I sell on ebay about once a month, and childrens clothes of any size do sell well and sell quick. Some easily used sports equipment, when its in season, sells well. I have sold lots of hockey gear for my sister, with great success. One thing i found that surprised me, are board games. Not the newer popular ones but the ones you dont really hear about. What i do with the games, is check and see if they are available on Amazon, if not, then chances are its a hard to find item and it will sell. My sister gave me about 6 games and total made about 200 bucks. One went for 20 bucks on amazon, but was showing no longer available. We listed it and it sold for 37.00. Its crazy, but it sold..lol.
Just remember to search for the items you are selling on ebay, and see if there are alot of the same item already listed, if so and there are no bids and the listings are almost ending, i would wait to list it and check back at a later time sometimes with clothes you have to list in teh right time of the year. If the same item is listed and lots of ppl are bidding, then definitely list it as that means its a hot time for the item and many are looking for that item. Research is the key when selling on ebay, at least from my experience.
Also any old vintage or collectible items, sell pretty well to.

My advice for selling products on Ebay is to sell everyday items and rare items. Eg.) you could try selling some old clothes and a group of rare coins if you have any. You never know what items you can be sitting on, you may be sitting on a gold mine. You sell things cheaply, you may be able to do very well.
What are your financial goals? A second income or to replace lost income or to start a business? Depending on your goals, the type of products sold would vary.

I have been selling on ebay since 2002. I sell a lot of everything. Clothing, baby clothes and plus size clothing and junior clothing. You can look around your house and anything you are not using can be listed on ebay. Handmade items like baby wipes, baby bibs, baby lap pads and stuff like that. There are so many items that you can sell on ebay. Just look around and when you start listing and selling your items you will find out what sells for you. For me and my daughter, she sells on ebay too, infants to plus size clothing works for us. As well as magazines and dvds and cds. Most anything we don't need or want anymore that is still in excellent condition goes on ebay for auction. Goood luck
