My uncle's funeral

My uncle passed away on Sunday. He was a world war II veteran and a very nice and friendly man with many friends. We are going to take the drive up to Minnesota from Illinois for the services. It will be nice to see our family that we haven't seen in many years but I wish we had a happy occasion to get together. It will take us around 8 hours to drive there, it's about 800 miles from here. Here's my question...how far have you traveled for a funeral?
