sims 2 disk

i lost my sims 2 disk 1, now i can't play. is there anyway to get around it and play w/out the disk

No worried now. The first thing I do after installing the game or an expansion pack, is to get no-cd mod. I do that so my disc won't get damaged because I play the sims2 a lot. Download it and then replace it with the one in the TSBin. I can't exactly remember the name of the site, but I think it's GameCopyWorld. Goggle it and see if you can find what you're looking for.

You can download a torrent file and store the file on the computer. But then it takes a lot of your resources.

Just download the files from piratebay.com and get going.
