Have you gotten your wisdom teeth out?

I just saw the dentist about a week ago, and she found an infection under my gums around one of my wisdom teeth. The way they are growing in she said wasnt good and I would constantly be getting infections until I took all 4 of them out :( I just wanted to hear from people who have gotten theirs out and what I should be expecting, so tell me about your experience!

im sorry but i have not had my wisdom teeth removed they have all came thru and there are no problems with them i did however have a friend who had to have them all removed, the operation was done under general anesthetic and he was very sore afterwards and also had bruised cheeks. im sure all will be fine tho and i wish you the best of luck Lucy xxx

you're very lucky to not have problems with them..if they are problematic from the beginning, they just continue to persist and persist with problems until you yank them out

Don't remind me of that horribly painful experience.. Three of my wisdom teeth came out pretty easily. Only one was a little problematic. The pain was there for about a week. For the first two or three days, I couldn't even move my jaw ! I'm glad its out now :)

i'm so sorry to hear you had so much pain...that's what i'm afraid of lol i hope they hopped you up on some Tylenol 3's for the pain :) unfortunately, one must go through pain in order to have peace

Oh that's too bad. I am sorry to know about that. I have my 4 wisdom teeth up and down. But my dentist didn't say anything bad about it. I am glad about that.. whew! I never remember of having a toothache ever. Except those days having my wisdom tooth..whew! They really hurt so bad especially when I brush my teeth. Maybe you should follow what your dentist advised you.

ya i have to get them out asap, i just need to find an oral surgeon. your very lucky, i know very few people who didnt have problems with their wisdom teeth i have some friends that have had serious pain after they were removed for about a week so i kind of don't want to do it. im a little bit scared to be honest lol..and im 23, i dont think i should be scared haha

I have all half grown. But I'm not facing bad time with them. It only got swollen at the first few days but it's fine after that until now. It had been few years back and i still having my half. Maybe because i haven't get enough wisdom

no actually all my wisdom teeth have grown out properly and even with the least pain ever,my sister had problems with hers though.
