What the heck is __Long Term__?

Lately I've been seeing articles and blog posts __Long Term__ popping up in sentences. At first I thought maybe it's the latest substitute for "naughty" words, but the articles aren't the kind that would have any naughty words. So what's going on? It's really annoying to see this thing scattered around, breaking up what I'm trying to read. Is it a new secret code that I don't know about or has my computer been hacked? Somebody please let me in on the secret.
