Do you add everyone you see , do you accept anyone who asks to be friends or are you looking for something more ? Do you check out their discussions to see if they are ones you will like or you will respond to ? How do you feel when someone asks you to be a friend ?

I usually add everybody that requests my friendship. However I do make the notify on feature to those users that I like reading their posts, those who contribute in a funny way, those who post quality messages.

I turned everyone on in my notify the other day but don't seem to be getting anything in my email . I thought this would be a good way for me not to miss anymore discussions my friends started but must have did something wrong or I just don't understand it .
Thank you for your response .

I look at their age and I know someone told me one time that a lot of people lie about their ages anyway. I do look for people who I can clearly see are looking for people to join different money making sites. I am totally not interested, I've tried them before and never again so I hit deny. Guess I'm just an ol' boot my dear friend. Take care

i accept everyone. it doesn't really matter. if someone wants to be my friend then i just go right on and add them. as long as they don't do it to send me a PM to join some site then i will keep them as a friend. the more friends the more discussions to answer, so why not have as many friends as you can

Hi sam,
I rarely add friends now unlike when I was starting, I will add 10 or more in a day but this time I am accepting friends' request each day, I don't check their post for my basis to like them, no standard at all! LOL!
I will just expect them to be active in my post since as much as I can, I am turning all the notifications of my friends to be active also in their post!

I accept all requests, at the moment. Once I have many friends, I may or may not weed through and check out who they really are and what they represent. I know I probabally shouldn't , but I pretty much only check on discussions that friends have started. So....the more friends, the more discussions I may be able to respond to. I don't really get enough time on here. If someone responds to my question(s), I try to send them an invite.

I only just started to add anybody cause I didn't think we needed friend on here but I think we do cause I never get many responses. I will accept anybody who ask me cause I think more friends is better for us when we want them to answer to us. I do not look at what they are about I just accept them and answer there discussions when I see them on the board.

Well I have been accepting anyone who asked to be my friend without checking what they post. Now I find that some of my friends post a lot of thing that I am not interested in answering but I feel wrong removing them as they asked to be my friend not the other way around. I feel as though they asked because they like what I post so I have decided to accept those that ask even though my friends and I will keep them.

Hello samtaylorskykierajen
I accept everyone to asks me to be their friend though I did delete a couple of people the other day, one because they had literally coppied my discussion and the other one because they had started a discussion which was really nasty and crude. I will request someone to be my friend if I have noticed they have joined in with several of my discussions or I have something in common with that person.

Can you imagine copying a discussion that is downright rude if not more then a little lazy . I would delete someone for that to . I believe you can report someone for that because that is the same as stealing .

I did report him. Why should I do all that hard work to simply have someone copy me. I am not sure if he has done it to anyone else or has done it to me on more than one occassion. I have forgotten his name now and deleted him as my friend but I would never do that to someone.

I look for folks that are nice, polite and friendly. That have similar interests as me. I do not like to have rude people in my face. I want some friends to respond to my discussions. I will respond to theirs. I like when I get a few friends that know how to keep a conversation going.. Sometimes that is so hard to get on here. I love hearing about different ways that they use the internet to make money.

I will approve every friend request because i don't feel it's a bad thing to know one more new friend. However, i don't add everyone i see as my friend. I will choose those i want to be friend with depend on how they reply to a discussion.

If someone asks to be on my friend list, I generally check out their profile a little. I look at the discussions they've started and replied to and I generally will say yes. I have however denied someone if something in their profile indicates that they are either going to spam or sell me something (one guy's interest was only the category "Making Money")or they were just obscene (guys OR gals). I'm a firm believer that sleaziness has no place at myLot. There are other (MANY other) places on the internet for that sort of crap.

i really don't know what I'm looking for until I've accepted the friend request. I just want to meet as many new people as possible, and if i start getting specific as to what it is that I'm looking for, then I might miss out on meeting someone great, just because they don't fit my standards.
