I'm NOT going to vote according to the candidates' stance on the issues!

That is, this year I'm not going to vote according what either candidate claims that their stance on the issues is. In fact, I'm no longer going to listen to speeches by either candidate. At this point, I'm still not sure who I will vote for. Personally, I am not highly fond of either candidate. Both have made claims which I agree with, both have made claims which I do not agree with. Granted it is not likely that I would ever agree with any candidate 100% but usually I can find one who's claims I agree with more then the other. This year though, according to the claims I've hear so far, I'm pretty close to 50/50 with both of them. I am not going to go into exactly what I agree with and what I do not agree with, simply because that would almost surely lead to arguments with some people and to be honest, I simply do not care to argue about politics. Obama supporters claim that McCain makes false statements and lies. McCain supporters claim that Obama makes false promises and lies. I believe that most likely, both groups are right. It is my belief that most all politicians exaggerate the truth and tell their fare share of lies. That is why I am no longer going to listen to speeches given by either candidate. That is why I am not going to base my vote on what either candidate says. Instead, I am going to look up the voting record of both candidates. I am going to look up every single bill on record that each candidate voted for or against. I am going to research each and every one of these bills until I have a good understanding of what they are and what they mean. Then I am going make a list of how I would vote on each of these bills and everything else that each candidate has ever voted for or against. Then, I am going to casts my vote for whichever candidate's voting record most closely matches mine! Comments?
