What have you found on the ground while walking?

I once stumbled upon a laptop half-buried in the ground. Just kidding! I've found change and a few bills in the past but that's about it. I guess people are not used to throwing away important stuff or things of great value.

i have only ever found pennies on occasion, but today I hope to find my WALLET while on the ground. I llst the darned thing on the way up here, and I want it back since it has my passport, my Canadian health card, and all of my other important things in it. I can't believe I lost the stupid thing.

I've found all kinds of things. jewelry, toys, kittens...

I found trash on the ground. I found a penny on the ground. One time I found a 20 dollar bill.

Hi friend,I am not lucky enough to find anything on the ground so far.But there are people who find things often ,even gold.My sister in lawis verey lucky to find often something from the ground.Once when she was walking to leave her daughter in school she found a pin studded with stones.She wasn't sure about whether it was gold that time.But after a long time when she went to a jewellery to order some jewels she gave that and asked to test whether it was gold.To her utter surprise she found that to be gold studded with diamonds.

Nothing particularly interesting or valuable is jumping in my head. But when I do find things, I always have to wonder about the story behind it. Like I saw a broken flipflop recently, and I started thinking, did they just discard it when they broke it and continued walking barefoot through the city or something?

i never found anything valuable as well when i am walking... so far, i can only find notes and change as well like you... that's about it... but i hardly find notes as well... many times i can only find change like 5 or 10 cents that people don't want... take care and have a nice day...

I've found money, bits of change and the occasional dollar bill. I've seen odd things like one shoe or someone's sweater, but I didn't pick them up because I figured the owner would come back for them eventually - you'd notice if you only had one shoe, right? It was puzzling. I once found someone's house keys in the street but I took them to a house and the owner of the house knew the person whose keys they were, so she called the neighbour and returned the keys.

Money of course some I keep some I don't. Sometimes I can see the person drop the bill so I run after them. Sometimes I agonize because I wonder if the person will come right back, retracing their steps and really need that bill - and leave it - even though that risks someone else just coming by to pick it up. I've seen abondoned toys, even kids shoes or socks. Unfortunately I've seen my share of trash. Its terrible how little respect people hae for their environment and themselves that they would litter. I see a lot of lone gloves and once I came across a website about lost gloves for a partcular area which was a genuis idea!

My son is always looking for something on the ground, I've taught him to look for money around car washes and check out counters. I've found shopping lists and notes to other people, odd stuff like that. I guess if you plan on finding something you just might. Enjoy your laser pointer.

once I found a $2 bill on the ground and i still have it. another time i found $40 dollars on the ground and i gave $5 to my sis. Somehow i lost 15 of it and i dont remember what i spent with the last $20.

I found a £10 note when I was outside my newsagents once. I kept it, as there was no-one around so it must have been there for a while. I'm always finding 1ps and 2ps on the floor wherever I go! I found a mobile phone on a tennis court once as well. But I rang 'home' in the phone book and told them that they'd left it there. I've never found anything more interesting than that really!

Aside from trash, mainly just money. However, it's not just change I've found such as pennies or quarters. Once I found five dollars in a mall store when I was a kid. Another time I was in a grocery store when I saw something on the ground. It was in the middle of the floor near the entrance. I walked over to see what it was and to my surprise, do you know what it was? A twenty dollar bill! No one was looking for it or acting like they were missing any money, so I did the only natural thing and kept it :P.

So far nothing but I am still looking? lOl

Like you I have found some items as well like coins, bills, my sister found a watch once and a bracelet, headbands, my son found a few paper bills beside our car once..I sometimes find hairclips or ponytails, My father in law used to find all sorts of stuffs on the floor when he walks home when he was still alive. My sister is lucky too she finds lots of good stuffs.

i once found a $100 dollar bill on the front lawn!! it was crumpled up and i thought it had blown in and gotten stuck along the edge of the walkway to the door! i was ecstatic and ran back inside the house to show my boyfriend at the time what wonder i had just found! and then the moron got the biggest look of relief on his face and said "thank god! i thought it was gone for good!" he had lost it the night before!! he would just crumple up any bills and shove them into the same pocket where he kept the car or house keys! he' pull out the keys and inevitably drop a bill or two with it! i must have gotten him 5 wallets but damn if he would ever use them! sheesh..so i guess i cant really claim i found $100 bucks can i? ok well a guess a $1 bill is the "biggest" find LOL!

Latley I havent found anything good on the ground. The only thing ive found is coupons from where I work. Probally the best thing ive found once on the ground was a twenty dollar bill once when I was doing carts. Beleave me I was very happy that day since I didnt have any money on me lol.

I can't think of anything that I found while walking, but I do found some pennies sometimes. I think whenever I am walking I never seem to look on the ground, I just look straight though, maybe that's the reason why I never found anything. Maybe if it's a big thing I will see it, lol.

on two occasions i found money. The first was when i was 12 me and my friend walked down to the store to get something to drink when we got there there was yellow tape all over the door and we looked in the window and seen blood on the floor. as we were quickly walking away we found five dollars on the ground then a few more steps and one dollar. Then a few more steps and another dollar. Apparantly they had been robbed and i guess the robber dropped some money! We walked to the store on the other block and got more than a drink. lol. The second time i was about 23 and i had misplaced my wallet. i thought i left it on my car when i left the grocery store. So me and my neighbor went walking to the store to see if it had fallen in the street. I live in texas and it was extremly hot out side that day. we were so thirsty but all of my money was ofcourse in my wallet!! we looked down and found two dollar bills folded up on the side of the road! We soon gave up and walked back home to find that my husband found my wallet under the porch. lol
