I've already use just the 2 of them.the cream and the powder type. but I prefer the cream type of blush on.
way back then, when I was in college, I am using a powder type of blush on. but it needs a lot of effort.. I still have to use brush for it, and I am finding a hard time putting the right amount of blush on into my cheeks so it isn't natural to look at.
I am now using the cream type of blush,(Avon mousse blush) and it's so easy to put on my cheeks. no brush needed and it looks so natural. just like you pinch your cheeks., so I prefer this type.
with the liquid type, I haven't use it. so I wouldn't know.
for those girls out there who loves make up, what type of blush on do you use? are there any types of blush on that you wanted to share?
thanks in advance!

i mostly use cream or powder type. the latest is the blush on with brush attached to it already. that is very handy and i enjoy using it. i dont have to worry to forget the brush for the blush on has a brush attached to it already. i am very busy so i use more powder than the cream sytle for when i am in a hurry i am having a hard time applying it uniformly. hirapan ako magpantay. lol. so i am more confident and used to apply the powder one than the cream specially now that i have purchased a blush on with brush attached to it.

i bought something from ever bilena. i hope i spelled it right. i attached a picture with my comment. two types are available. loose powder and blush on. i have both. now i dont need to bring out my press powder i just have to brush my whole face with the loose powder and the blush on as well. it is also available on expensive brands but i just wanted to try it so i bought it. revlon has it also i saw it and it is mineral blush on and loose powder. thjey said mineral make-ups are really good for the skin but i have to save for it is an expensive brand. nice talking to you about beauty

I'm not a gal and i have not used any of it b4, but i do know the difference too.. lol =D Powder type belongs to the pioneer of all makes ups, and during the early days, most ple will tend to put on cheeks with a sponge b4 brush was invented for it.. Right?? lol I know it because i will always be playing around with my mom's powder as it seems fun whenever i see her powdering her face.. haha
BUt soon, brush came out, and sponge was no longer popular, due to it's impratical and ugly.. Brush in fact was alot more better as i can even see ple putting on cheeks in public, without the powder flying around.. hehe ^_^
NOw with the cream type, it's even much more easier as it's much more closer to our skin color and putting on cheeks is just like painting on the face, thus making one look so natural with it.. hehe =D
As for liquid, i wonder who will gonna use it because i believe the effects won't be as good as the cream ones, as it will appear too thick if one were to apply too much, and layers will appear on the cheeks.. hehe

LOL. are you sure aren't a gal? just kidding!
anyway, you can't use powder blush with applicator in public. I mean, it was so hard. it needs a lot of effort.
I tried using liquid type, and it isn't not that natural compared to the cream one.

LOL. I don't retouch in public. I think it's awkward to do that, since lots of people will stare at you.

yeah. that was my dilemma on using the powder types of blush on. that is why I switch into the cream one.
well, I guess choosing the right color that suits you is important in choosing the right blush on.

way back then, when I was still in college, I don't know how to put make up. but then, as I always practice, I've got the right make up for my face. just the natural one. and sometimes, I read make up guidelines over the internet or watch videos. it really helps a lot.

I used to use the powder type but unfortunately my brush got worn down and I never think of replacing it. I had lots of the cream type and I can spread this easily with my fingers. I also think the cream one looks more natural than the powder one.

I don't actually wear any blush. I guess maybe because of my health problems I am always one of two things: very pale or very pink cheeked. So if I wear blush and that day my face happens to do the 'pink cheek' thing, it ends up looking like I put gobs of blush on. So to avoid a look of too much makeup, I just leave blush out of my makeup routine. : )

I like the powder kind. I have more control over how dark it is on my face then with the cream or the liquid kinds. I have never tried the one from avon you are referring too. Is it relatively inexpensive, in case i do not like it I would hate to spend a lot of money. I still like the cover girl powder blush.

The ponds pink powder is the one who provide blush on in my face.. I can't share to you anything about make up or blush on use since I am not using those things..

Hi zer0charly, Thanks to you for the tip! I am using powder
blush and you are right it is not easy to put on. I am now
thinking about trying a cream blush as you said you use. It
does seem like it would be easier to put on and to control
and probably would look more natural. I think I will check
it out. I don't know if I will try Avon because I like to
see what colors they have in person first so I will look
in the stores to see what they have to offer. I like
Cover Girl and Revlon brands so I will check them out first.
I use Cover Girl powder matte so I will see what they have
in blush creme. I think I now use Cover Girl blush or
sometimes Max Factor. I'm not even sure anymore. I know
that I change brands once in awhile. But thanks again for
the advice!

those brands were quite expensive, but worth every penny. by the way, how's the cover girl powder matte? is it OK?..
if you are on the Philippines, check out penshoppe's cheek tint (cream type).. it was also OK and looks so natural into your cheeks. it isn't that expensive but the blush on is pretty.

I use all of them but like the blush on one the best cause I can find the color I like in this one the easiest. I would like the liquid one the best if I could find the color that looks nice on me. I like the makeup from Avon cause it is always nice stuff they have in tehre but some of it is expensive.

i use powder blush, it's like a want with the powder and the applicator in one.. i find it easier and convenient. i have tried using cread blush, though i like the effect on the skin, i dont like the idea of using my fingers to apply the blush on my cheeks..hehe so i stick with my blusher, it's looks like an applicator with colored powder on one end of the applicator and a blusher on the other end, so it's less work for me to so.. and not messy too..hehehe

there are really some applicators that sting on the skin, so if you want , you can try those smooth big applicators that don't sting... well, i am not so concern about bacteria on the applicator, i have them covered everytime, but if hygiene concerns you, washing the applicator with soap and in the running water, like, just the tip of it, it should be fine.. i am not so comfortable with cream type blush ons, because i find it messy applying on the skin, like my fingertips gets to have a pink tint because of the blush..hehe and i still have to wash my hand or get a tissue to wipe the tint off..

well yeah. some says that using your fingertips will spread bacteria into your skin, so it fingertips are not advisable to use it putting your blush on. but of course, you really have to make sure that your fingertips are clean before using it into your face..
with the applicator, it really irritates my skin. it stings into my skin and it cause acne. and may I ask, how will I clean those applicators? should I wash it with soap and water?

I don't have any particular color to share, but I must say that I have developed quite the loyalty to Bare Minerals. It's the most natural looking make-up I have ever used and I'm not sure I could ever go back to anything else. Even just the Warmth powder makes putting on a blush pretty much unnecessary. Though I have tried both a few times and have gotten good results. Any product I have tried from this company has been great and I have friends that are fanatical about their eyeshadows. I have tried some kits that are basically fool-proof. I don't know the first thing about applying eye make up but these kits tell you where to put everything and it looks fantastic. Everything mineral powder is outstanding. I have never used creams for blush, but I have been tempted to. I'll probably try it sometime, but it would be hard to tear me away from BM.
I'm pretty passionate about this brand. It's not always easy to find them but any excuse to head to Sephora is okay by me. Then again, I could just spend all day in that store.

you know what, I've heard lots of good feedback about that bare mineral make ups, and I am tempted to use it. seriously! I just don't know what's the right brand should I use. and wouldn't cost damage into my skin. and I also wanted to have BM that covers impurities. could you please suggest, since your a fan of it..

well, for your knowledge, bare escentuals is actually the company and bare minerals is the particular brand of mineral powders. They are all the same. You just have to pick a color. I have white skin so the color that works best for me is called Fairly Light but the shades go up and down. The great thing about bare minerals is that you can use the same mineral powder that you use on your face as a foundation can also be used as cover up. It's all about the application brushes you use. You use the little brush to apply it as a concealer and a bigger brush to apply it as a foundation. They have something called warmth that you would apply after that and what it does is adds just the right amount of color to your face to look really natural. I absolutely love it.

Also, fyi...one of the major selling points of bare minerals is that as a mineral powder, it's good for your skin so it will not cause damage. I never feel like it's clogging my pores unless I go to sleep with it on, but that's just because you should always wash your face before you go to bed. That's the time when your skin heals anyway. It's best to be clear of all impurities during that time.
