How come the better a food tastes, the worse it is for you? Isn't that kind of anti-survivalist?

I almost like everything when it comes to food. That is not a problem to me anymore. Some of my friends didn't like foods which is in fact very healthy but didn't have appetite for it.

I like the food whatever my mother cooks. I still think she is the best cook for me and everything she cooks is delicious too. I thought of this psychology and found that, mother's food is the first one we taste in our life and the taste buds fix them as their food. Taste buds loved those food that we get everyday from your mother with love. This tastes good for me, but may not taste good for others. That is in one sense a survival psychology. Then coming to the second part of your discussion, the better a food taste, the worst it is for you. I think this happens when we eat more and more the food we like in the past and our body becomes resistant to it and creates anti-enzimes. This way the body resist that food anymore in order to prevent further damages.

The thing you have to remember is that thousands of years ago, our survival instincts told us we needed a certain amount of fat in our diets to survive the winter. However, due to advancements in technology, farming, and living, we no longer require the large quantities of fatty foods as we did then. It goes without saying that our brains haven't yet gotten the message, so we still crave fatty foods over leaner foods such as vegetables. This causes us to eat unhealthy foods. It is not necessarily that unhealthy foods taste better, but rather it is more along the lines of this is what our body still craves because of its survival instinct. However, I broke that cycle by forcing myself to eat healthier foods which I didn't think tasted very good at the time. Now I find that these foods taste better to me than the unhealthy ones I used to crave. It is all a matter of training your mind, body, and tastebuds to taste differently.
