The best way i have found to make a steak is to grill it. You heat the grill up nice and hot, then you put the steak on it. You want to make sure you have some garlic powder, onion powder, and worsteschire sauce to put on it. Typically what I do is sprinkle the powders on there first, both sides. Then after a few minutes of cooking it like that I pour on some of the sauce. I let that cook for a little while and then put a little more of the powders on there. Of course, after that, you won't need the powders anymore. For the sauce, I usually put that on about 4 or 5 times throughout the whole process. It cooks into the meat, but you still get the nice meat flavor with the seasoning on the outside. Also, I would say the best thing is to make it a rare to medium rare steak. The longer you cook it the tougher it gets. Especially do this with a cheaper priced steak. For ribeyes and such, you dont have to do that, you can cook it as long as you want. the fats on those will keep them a little mroe tender. It all depends how you like your steak cooked.

Hi, I don't know how to make steak, but my hubby does. He would shop for ribeyes - he insists that these must be fresh. No marinades. He heats up the pan until it is very hot; then place in the steak - about 3 to 5 minutes per side. I really don't know how he does it; the steak is crisp and slightly burnt on the outside, and medium rare inside. I only add a little bit of light soya sauce to mix with the meat juices that flow out - simply delicious!

the best way that i make steak is i pound it with a skillet or something heavy and i let it marinate in whatever sauce you want i sprinkle a little salt and pepper on it and put some butter on top and stick it in the oven because its more tender when you cook it in the oven then on the stove.

Marinate it a day in advance, then grill it on a propane grill.

Thank you for your response. I have found marinating it an advance does help the flavor to get in to it. Happy Mylotting!!!!

My husband marinades it in steak seasoning and garlic salt for about a few hours then he cooks it halfway only. Then just before serving, he reheats it on the griller with how we want our steak to be. We also mix worshestershire, steak sauce and hot sauce as the steak's sauce. It's really great!
