here in my country, there are wuite a number of mobile phone lines that offers good deals in terms of use. there are three majot mobile phone lines here.
1. Globe
2; Smart
$. SUN Cellular
and most people would have either smart or globe and most people have SUN as a secn=ond line because they offer unlimited texting and also calling! Either if its prepaid or line, they offer unlimited calling minutes which people take advantage of, not to mention the free phone that they also give just like Globe and Smart. So mo st people would have two mobile phones not just for the heck of having it but also having another available means of communication. people today rely so much on mobile phones nowadays, it makes transactions and agreements easier.
though i only have one mobile phone coz i just cant handle both and id rather concentrate on one mobile.

i have two, cause the nature of my work that i travel places, and sometimes when i go to this place their is no signal for globe or smart, so i should have two for me to be contacted and to contact my main office as well, and its quite a necessity already of having two phones not just because for our luxuries and being IN but because we need this things for our work and other things, and way also of communicating to my family, friends and at work.

I am using three phones and I am using the service of the three providers you mentioned but the most active sim I am using is the one from Globe, prepaid. I prefer globe since they are more realiable than smart. I am only into calling and texting so I can't say much about their mms services, etc. What I am taking advantage with smart is that, most of my relatives from the other province use Smart so to make the service fee free, I use smart to receive texts. I use Sun for their unlimited call offers since most of my cousins and friends have it. Their SMS delivery is often late but so with smart.
Right now, my smart and globe phones are open but only my globe line has a load :-) I don't top up or reload my smart sim often.

I only have one cellphone actually. A lot of my friends have 2 because SUN cellular deals are really cheap and used by many businesses. But I don't have work yet nor do I own a business so I don't see the point of having to won another cellphone. My globe phone works for me. Maybe in the next few months I'll look into gettign another line with another company. It's not that expensive anyway I think it's really worth it if I need it.

I have two mobile phones. One Smart and one globe. I do own a Sun sim and it's interchangeable with Globe. I'm using my Smart as my main phone. Globe's got free Yahoo! services usage and it sucks because my phone for Globe/Sun is only a call and text phone. As much as possible i don't want to transfer my Smart sim to other phones.

hmmm tahts pretty complicated but yeah i must agree that when you have a main phone, you do not want that to be interchanged or moved and it is always the phone that you pay attention to and use most of the time. i used to have another line for sun but i was not able to pay attention that much so i decided not to use it anymore.

Timely discussion. Here in my country, at the beginning the mobile charges were very high. However, now there are many competitors and due to that those charges are going down.
The recent situations is that one of the Government related mobile company gave a package to Gov servers, which provides free out going for their network and land lines for 1000 minutes. This has been taken by many people.
Sales in other presiding company has gone down at the moment but people expect them to do something very special to capture the market. Therefore people used to keep their those SIMs as well.
Due to the competition customers are benefited.

I only have one phone. I'm a Globe user and have been one for a long time now. I never really figured out why you need two phones. Some other providers have the free text to others who also use the same provider promo. I think it's just a hassle to have two phones. I have all my contacts on one phone and I don't mind spending a whole peso to text someone who's using a different provider.

I only have only one mobile phone and i'm so lucky becauseone of the features of my phone is it is dual sim, it means in one cellphone i can use two sim card. The two mobile phone lines that I used are smart and suncellular. I used my smart for my friends and family while I used my sun cellular in calling my husband in Florida. Mobile phone is really a big help in communicating. You can bring it everywhere and it's small that you can put it even in your pants.

hmmm well actually segregating means of communication for work and friends are not a bad idea so you will already know before hand if a call or text message is for business or leisure :) pretty clever :) when i start my career and have a lot of contacts, i would get myself 2 mobile phones. :)

I just have one cell phone but it is enough for me. Some of my friends have three or four and they handle so many sets when they start ringing at the same time. What a bummer!!

I have only one mobile phone.Having two phones would be irritating If both the phones ring at the same time.Nowadays phones are launched where you can put two sim cards in one phone and having two networks.

In india also we have more networks in both the GSM and CDMA technology, Those are
In GSM :
-- Airtel
-- Aircel
-- Vodafone
-- BPL Mobile
-- Idea Cellular and more
In CDMA :
-- Reliance
-- Tata Indicom and etc
So, in all the connections, we have both the prepaid and the post paid connections, the user has to choose the plan as per their usages and their requiremnts..
Have a good day.

I only have one cell phone, pay as you go, since I don't use it much. When I get a job, I will get an Iphone or something like that.
Ever since I got the phone, which was last month, I only use like 10 minutes. So I'm saving quite a bit of money.
I have a laptop, so I usually use Skype or Free Call or my home phone, VOIP at home is getting popular.
