I do give tags to new discussion that I make, however I do not add tags to posts that I reply to. Tags are beneficial for sorting.

hello ananth_kamma In the past I was not aware about the facts and the moment I knew about the benefits of giving tag I regularly use tags but sometimes I also skip keeping in view the circumstances. It is true that if you give tags it will be beneficial for your to trace/locate the discussions. It is really helpfull for the members and hence try to give tags for every discussion.

Whenever I am starting a discussion, I am giving tags for easier location for other MyLot users but whenever I am responding to a discussion, I skip it. Reading through with the comments given by other mylot users, I will also start giving tags to my responses. Thanks to you I've known this because I am taking it for granted the tags for every discussion.

Earlier I did not give tags to my discussions. But now I try to give tags for every discussion I start. Yes they are helpful because they make it easier for the users to search discussions. Starting a discussion with tags could result in greater number of responses than discussions without tags...

i always give tags to my discussions and besides i also give tags to my responses. it will be easier for others to find my discussions when they have tags. when i post responses, i'm asked to give tags, so i just give them. it's easy anyway.

WEll i always give tag to my post.
it helps the myLot team in organising the thingie in proper way.
this will ultimately help YOU, when you will be looking for a particular discussion.
Whenever you start a new discussion, it shows the similar discussions already taken place,
thats possible just because of tags.
