I would just like to know if anyone out there shares my fears of the upcoming election. I just can't seem to get comfortable with either of the candidates. I have a terrible feeling in the pit of my stomach about both of them. I'm not sure if it is this expierence with Bush that has made me so leery or if these current guys really are scaring others besides myself...

Either way it goes, we are going to have one of them. I don't know which one i will go for. I know that Hilary Clinton told us to still vote democratically, however, i don't feel comfortable doing so. Obama makes it seems as if he is a working person, a middle classman, one of us basically. He is trying way to hard.
He might have been raised by a single mother, but he rose above that, which is exactly what one of the key points that everyone points out. Well tell me something if he rose above it than where does that leave us? We are still here and are unable to rise above it because we don't have the means to do so. A lot of things are going to affect this country and i am very leery of both of the nominees also, I don't trust either. On top of that Obama denoucnced his church that he had been attending for 12 years. Ok let's get this straight one time the preacher speaks out in public, and has a regular sermon that he has been having for the past 12 years, but this time a camera man is on him. So Obama denounces him? If he had been going to the church for 12 years, then trust me he got a lot more from the preacher than from that one sitting. That's why im hoping that a third will come in like John Kerry or someone like that. Keep your fingers crossed it just might happen.

Don't count on it. Pick one of the above and bite the bullet. Personally, I don't think it's terribly mindboggling. Obama is head and shoulders above McCain/Palin. McCain is a hot head that is most likely going to get us into another war. His colleagues consider him a hot head.

I share you fears if McCain/Palin should somehow manage to get elected. Thankfully, right now that's looking increasingly unlikely, but you never know. We've got the Presidential candidate who likes to sing a cute little ditty that goes, "Bomb, bomb Iran" with a running mate who seriously believes the End of Days will come in her lifetime. That causes me some fear, you betcha!

I am actually very confident that Obama and Biden will be great leaders. I have a lot of faith that they will look after the needs the citizens of the United States. I think we will see this country make big changes that have been needed for a long time. On the other hand, if it turns out that McCain and Palin are elected, then yes, I will be afraid... very afraid.

John McCain and Sarah Palin scare me beyond reason. I think McCain's age and health may put Sarah Palin into the White House sooner rather than later. Not only do I not agree with either of them, I am afraid of their shoot from the hip style and attitude. I cannot cite one policy of theirs that I support. I think they will take us into another war with their belligerence. Obama has a level head; he thinks about the middle class. I think he is what we need; he is what I need.
