psspurgeon1 I had a few fathers over several years so I'm actually glad I got my mom's maiden name instead of any of my father's'.... I also gladly gave into tradition and took my husband's last name. It was like a new identity for me.

psspurgeon1 I have only been on a biplane and a cessna. Never commercial. We are also planning a trip and are going to deive. I can't imagine those poor children and their parents with such a huge loss.

psspurgeon1 I think I heard it was caused by ice buildup on the wings. You would think that planes would be able to avoid that considering that it is a really regular thing to have ice in the winter!
