psspurgeon1 I have only been on a biplane and a cessna. Never commercial. We are also planning a trip and are going to deive. I can't imagine those poor children and their parents with such a huge loss.

psspurgeon1 I think I heard it was caused by ice buildup on the wings. You would think that planes would be able to avoid that considering that it is a really regular thing to have ice in the winter!

psspurgeon1 Oh yea, I don't listen to it either but when I pull up the internet it is always right there. I usually just browse and read what catches my eye. The many plane crahses have definitly caught my eye. That and octomom! LOL

psspurgeon1 I know, I was thinking about how I would feel as a parent to have the worst immaginable thing happen and it makes me sick. It is a tragic thing to hear about. It seems to be happening more and more lately though with these planes.

psspurgeon1 I know what you mean! I have the number to the nurse hotline on speed dial and poisen control memorized. It just makes me cringe that there are so many people out there that want to get a good video of their children getting injured. If I did catch something...

psspurgeon1 I do not like the destruction from it. I don't want to see anyone hurt or lose their homes or families or anything like that. I just am fascinated by the storm itself. It's exciting.... :-)

psspurgeon1 Like me here. They always fizzle out before they get to me. I supposedly live in tornado alley but they rarely hit here. Maybe it's the electic charge in the air that contributes to my adrenaline pump! Either way, it's my favorite season!

psspurgeon1 It's addictive isn't it! It's an adrenaline rush. I love the black clouds, wind, thunder and lightening. I of course don't like the destruction they leave and could do without that part but the storm itself is amazing!!!

psspurgeon1 I have a primal instinct to protect my children so the danger aspect of them I don't like. It's the adrenaline that comes from a good storm that I love. Where we live, they all fizzle out before they get to us so maybe that's why I'm so attracted to them.
