pasta sauce - cream-based, tomato-based or olive oil-based?

Lately, I have pasta cravings. It's crazy when I crave for pasta. And when I eat them, I would often choose the tomato-based pasta and would drown my pasta with chilli flakes. I am more fond of tomato-based pasta because growing up would mean sweet and spicy tomato-based spaghetti. How would you like your pasta sauce be - cream-based, olive oil-based or tomato-based?

My favorite pasta is with tomato and meatsauce. But for the last couple days I have a craving for Pasta with shrimp and some kind of white sauce. I'm sure I have to make it today, I keep thinking about it.

I like all three kinds of pasta sauce, but most often I make tomato based sauces. They are lower in fat than the cream or oil based sauces. I grew up eating mostly tomato based pasta sauce, too.

when i cook pasta, the sauce is usually tomato-based but sometimes i like to cook cream-based sauces. when i eat at an italian restaurant, however, i choose the olive oil based pasta. oooh, i love chili flakes and i sprinkle it on everything.
