I was posting an ad on a local site to try and find my kittens good homes.I have two cats one of which got pregnant and had 4 kittens,to much! So anyway, right before I posted the ad a screen came up warning me about giving away kittens for free.
It said that I might want to reconsider or at least be cautios about giving the kittens away for free because they have caught some people responding to these ads and then selling or giving the kittens to labs for research!
Am I just naive obecause I never heard of such a thing...kittens? This disgusts me.I didn't know that this was being done to these poor animals. Did anyone else know about this? Whats your take on this?

I hate to hear this sort of thing. I never heard of using kittens either, but remember the kind of world we live in. I would be very weary of people taking a whole litter, that would raise a red flag to me along with puppies.

People better get their pets altered to prevent these babies being born.

I agree with getting the pets spaided and nuetered. This cat of mine that got pregnant I actually found. I heard from some neighbors that the people who lived here left her.So, I cfelt bad and kept her, little did I know she was pregnant! Her original owners should've found her a good home or something instead of just leaving her to roam the streets, thats one way these babies keep multiplying!
Tjhanks for your response.

Yes, that's very true. I would definately not put it past anyone. There are companies that want to test out their products so they test them out on animals. I remember switching through channels one time on my dad's TV and I saw a monkey with it's chest cut open and you could see the rib cage and the poor thing was still alive. It's body was having spasms. The words underneath the video said that it was Procter and Gamble. After seeing that I try not to buy their products. I don't know if they still do it but I hope they don't. There are also people that use them for food.
There are pretty sick people in the world today so I don't find the warning unbelievable. I don't doubt it. It's sad, the animals are so helpless and innocent. I don't like thinking about things like this.

I have heard of this too. I don't know how much truth there is to it but whenever we have had to find a home for a pet we have always tried to be really careful about who gets one. As for our cat Morgana, she's fixed so there's no issue of finding homes for kittens with her. I find it is well worth the money just to have them fixed.
