This movie is one of my favorites of all time. I'm a man, and I'll admit I've cried several times watching this film. Even on repeats it never fails to make me cry. I guess I was really touched by the story. How about you guys? Did you cry? Or how deep did the story got down to you? Have a nice day!

Weird thing. People say that it is not that much when you've already watched the film because the story is just the same and nothing is changed or made sensationalized for the sake of the film. Anyways, sometimes the words are more touching than seeing actors act, because that way you can feel them more. Anyways to each his own. Have a good day.

i agree! i have also read the novel and I must say it is more touching than the movie... but the movie is one of the best movies I have watched so far. all the actors did gave justice to the roles and am proud of them! hehe..

I'm such a cry baby when it comes to mushy movies. And definitely this one did not let me escape all the drama that it entails. And soft as I am, it made me cry like I was the lead actor in the film, more so when I read the book. I've watched the movie twice and just like you, it never failed to make me cry. I then decided to read the ebook and as expected I cried even more than I did with the film.

I haven't watched this movie yet. But I think it is a moving film as it caused you cry for it. I often cry when I am watching touching movies. Perhaps I am a woman, so I am much more emotional. I love China

Men are much more emotional than women, in my opinion. It's just that in almost all countries, we grow up in the norm that "boys don't cry" and that is why women seems more emotional. I really think otherwise. Anyways I also cry on really touching movies, Like Finding Nemo, Monster's Incorporated Happy Feet. No kidding, I've really cried. Have a nice day. I love Philippines, I hate the government!!!

Cool. The Color Purple. You've given me a good movie to watch. I'll look forward to that one. Armageddon? Hmm...I think I didn't cry on that movie but it certainly moved me, the part where they were leaving for the space.

Wow, cool. You became an instant fan too, eh? I admit I kind of liked her after the movie, even looking for the next movie she'll do. Try Seventeen is kind of cool, although she's the mean, flirty girl there. That movie, where she was a daughter of a high figure(I really forgot the story, but it's like that), I like her in that movie. SO I guess I'm a fan. Heehee. Have a nice day.

i admit! i cried while watching that movie. i think i could relate to that movie. it has a very good love story. it is also memorable to me because it is the first movie that me and my past boyfriend watched in the theater. i thought that it was our story. but i realized that ours was different since we parted ways after 4 years.

This is one of my top five favorite movies of all time, and let me tell you...I cry every single time I watch it! The first time I made my husband watch it with me, he also cried. I just think the entire concept of the movie is so touching.

I did!!! In the part that Mandy Moore is getting very very ill and the guy swallowed his pride to run to his father who happened to be a doctor to seek for help. He worked for something to make her believe that she saw a comet or something before she die because that's really her ambition of what it is written in their yearbook. That was really a nice story. He tried everything to make her happy until her last breath.

Yeah, that part was really touching. And I was touched because he did everything to make her happy even though he knows she will be gone. He even finished his degree and went on to become a doctor...she would have been proud. Uhmm...I don't quite understand the part about the comet, what I know is that he really did make a telescope for her to see the comet that she wanted to see all her life. That was touching too. Thanks for sharing, have a good day.

Oh, yes! I certainly did cry. And everytime I see it again I cry. He was a good man and he showed her father that he was. Not that he set out to do so but it did happen. One my favorites!

I almost did but I try not to. The story is about giving meaning to life despite the expected lose. Wow the lead role had a very strong heart and I believe she was really happy in the life she was given to by the lord. Not to mention the "miracle" in the story. Great! I plan to watch it again and that time it will be an analysis.

an all-time favorite of mine! I cried everytime I watched this until this day, especially the scene after they watched the comet until Landon proposed for marriage, it was just so touching! and gee...loved the soundtrack too. I guess it contributed in a way to the overall greatness of the film.
