Do you know about Walgreens' freebates? These are items you buy for the price of the rebate. After receiving the rebate, the items are free. Walgreens makes this very easy to do, too. All your register receipts for the month get sent in one envelope along with one refund sheet. I usually buy each of the freebate items. Even if I don't use it myself, I've given them as gifts or sold them at yard sales. Any way I go, I feel like I just can't lose when an item is free.
There are only three items this month. They are:
Extreme Energy 6-Hour Shot, 2 pack
Choice of several L'Oreal Cleansers
Rimmel Lasting Finish Mineral Enriched Foundation, 1 oz.
Do you ever guy freebate items from Walgreens? If so, do you only buy items you use? Do you buy all types of items or just beauty, health, etc.?

I get them all of the time. In fact I just got my September free items loaded up on my card so now I can buy the October ones with it. I wish I knew if they were going to do another buy $20 get $5 off coupon in the next few weeks. I missed out on the one last week because I really didn't need anything else and was out of cash. It would be great if they ran one and then I could use my gift card and purchase all of the October freebies and get another $5 off.

Yes, I do the freebies every month. I get them whether or not is something that I use. If we don't use it, there are always other family members that needs things or I give them to the family violence center. Don't forget when you opt to get the refund on a gift card instead of a check you get a 10% bonus.

Sometimes I get so caught up with getting the items at CVS for the extra bucks, I often forget Walgreens has these freebates! Even though technically the item is free, it's not free at the time you buy it so usually I will only buy the ones that I need at the time, or I know someone else needs it, or I might need it in the near future.
Often I buy makeup, health, or cleaning related products as Walgreen's can often have really good deals on these kinds of items.
Thanks for the friendly reminder! Happy my lotting!
