Half of the population do agree that yes it can be possible..but for others, they think that it will never work out. Others give it a try and eventually ends it up after some time, others break it up while even before the departure for a better closure, but there are really others who ends up together...people who remained strong despite the distance...^^ What's your opinion about this?

Sometimes long distance relationship last and sometimes long distance relationship ends up to break up. There are some couple who can handle long distance relationship very well and there are also some couple who can't. I think I can never handle long distance relationship because I want my partner to be always be with me all the time. I think the couple who can make it has a lot of trust to their partner and even they are far from each other they never forget the communication.

I think it depends on how much you love the person & how much you are willing to try for the relationship. I guess you could say I have one... I'm married to a Marine. He's been in the Reserves ever since we started dating, but I've still had to be without him. He leaves once a weekend every month, 2 weeks in the summer, and for the past 2 years he's been gone for 6 weeks each summer all for training. And this is just the Reserves. It's worked out for us (obviously) but I definitely don't think long distance relationships are for just anyone. They are very hard & emotionally draining sometimes.

I think long distance relationship will work depends on the person itself. I met my hubby via via. And we communicate with email each other for 4 years. And we met for the first time in third years. Then wait another 1 year, I went to visit him and his family. Now, we are married for 4 years and we have 1 son.
So...it is work if you want

It depends on how you love each other...anyway, it is your decision that counts...if you choose to fight for it then it is possible, but if you're not brave enough to fight for it then it's impossible...

for those who worked out? yes. and no for those who failed. it depends on the couple how to keep their relationship going. but for me its an intense different feeling to have a long distance relationship. it will make an honest person out of you.

Yes, it will work out because I myself experienced it. After 3 years and 5 months of relationship, we finally got married. The only thing I can advise is that you must have a frequent communication with each other. It might sound expensive for calls or text messages but there is always an internet. If you don't have a connection in your personal computer then you can always go find an internet cafe.

I had a long distance relationship once.....it just kind of fizzled out. Too many miles and too many obligations eventually blocked the time necessary to put into a relationship. We are both older though with kids living close to us and my kids certainly are very important to me......driving all the time...trying to fit each other into a schedule...just didn't work.
