I'm cutting down on my rice intake. I used to have 1-2 cups PER meal but now I'm down ti 1/2-1 cup for 2 meals. I'm trying to have just one cup of rice for breakfast and I won't eat rice for lunch and dinner anymore. I'll start that one maybe next week. I'm going to stick with my 1/2 rice in the meantime.

Hi punkix, both my husband and I prefer to take rice as our lunch and dinner most of the time. My husband is a great fan of rice and he could take rice as his daily three meals. He always would complain that he still feeling hungry if doesn’t take rice for his breakfast. We usually would take the hot, spicy and delicious dish together with nasi lemak (coconut milk rice) for our breakfast. It’s a popular local food in my country
I always cook a cup full plus two table spoons of rice for every meal. Of course my husband would take two third of it when served. Obviously you know how much I take for every meal.
posting and have a nice day.

I don't eat my rice with cups. -_-
I wonder where you are from? Most people, even asians, eat their rice meals in bowls, or plates.

I don't eat much rice. When I was growing up we would eat alot of brown gravy with rice b/c my stepdad loved it but now that I live with my own family we don't eat it that much. I did start hiding the kids veggies in rice they didn't mind eating it that way. I think of it as a carb and would rather waste my carb on mashed potatoes.

Usually I eat about one cup of rice. But it also depends on what other accompaniments I am having along with it.If I have rice with fish curry then certainly I tend to eat more because its my favourite.

When I eat at the fast food, its only 1 cup of rice. But when we eat at fast food that offers unlimited rice, I can eat up to 3 cups of rice.
At home, it depends on my mood. Usually I eat 1 cup of rice. But if I like the viand, I can eat more. I can stretch my stomach.

Eating out like in restaurants mostly 1 cup, in parties or fiestas, a little only since there are plenty of viands and desserts and other houses to visit LOL. At home I don't measure really but I guess more than a cup per meal and there are 3 meals in a day.

It's 2 1/2 cups of rice for my husband and me everyday for lunch and that's the only main meal we have. For dinner is cereal/biscuits/bread/just milk.

I can't go on a day without eating rice. I need it breakfast, lunch and dinner. I don't really know how many cups I am eating in a day all I know is, if I find the food delicious, I keep coming back on it until I am totally full. Getting fat is really not one of my worries since I have a fast metabolism and everyday exercise.

We in my country, eat other vegitables and things with rice. Rice is our primary food item for at least 2 meals. Therefore it would be minimum plate of rice we eat.
