What Do You Want To Receive as a Present This Christmas?

In relation to my previous post, I guess, it's only natural to ask about what WE want for Christmas..
What are your wishes that you hope you would get?
Is it a new handbag, a cellphone, laptop, a new car..?
But whatever it may be, whether we like it or not, we should not forget to show our appreciation, so as not to offend the giver's feelings..

I want a BOYFRIEND!!! LOL! Ssshhhh! Don't spread that, I don't want guys knocking on my door this Christmas, hehehe! Honestly, I feel so blessed (with both tangible and intangible things) and happy this year that it seems my Christmas presents have been given in advance. Thanks to God, my loving parents, my friends and my job for that. But well, I'm really hoping I'll find my Mr. Right this Christmas (yeah, unfortunately I wasn't joking about the BOYFRIEND stuff, hehehe). I have suitors but I can't just love him more than just friends, I wanna meet him this year. :)

A moleskin cloak, actually. I'm hoping my Mom actually hand makes it, since it will be cheaper. It's practical, since I need warm-weather stuff.
Plus it's durable, really cozy, and handles dirt and water well.
I could never afford any of the things you listed brand new, and wouldn't ask for it of my family or friends.
I also don't need a handbag as I have a wallet and a handwoven purse (plus a hardcore skull purse!). I despise cell-phones, I want a scooter not a car since it's more fuel efficieny...and I'll be getting that myself next year over lots and lots of work and saving. I have a laptop, and I don't need another.
Actually, I'll be fortunate to get whatever I get. I know better than to not appreciative gifts, especially brand new ones, when we can't normally spend money willy nilly or have the time to handmake things of that quality ourselves either.

I don't really want anything that I can think of right now. Receiving any gift is always a pleasure. We exchange at Christmas time in our family. Just to be there and celebrate with family would be enough for me. Sounds mushy, but is really how I feel.

Hi there! Well if I will be asked what gift I like I would ask for a laptop. It's a bit expensive but 2nd hand laptops will do. Actually I am hoping to get my dad's old laptop. I have my own but I need to replace it cause its processor is getting slower and slower and my dad's laptop will do.
I don't usually tell or ask what I like as a gift. Whatever my parents will give me its ok. Anyway they always give me something nice. My mom is good in buying gifts for us.
Ciao!

I'm not really sure what I want to receive as a present this Christmas, besides a few bucks in my wallet. I have everything I need, and I am really not a materialistic person. I prefer to receive practical gifts that I can use, but that I also life (for me new software is more practical than a new pair of oven mits, for example). LOL

I will be happy whatever i will get this Christmas... but in my family... i am more of the giver of presents rather than the one who receives them... so even a bar of chocolate will make me very happy... and i don't really wish for any kind of gift... because i always want to be surprised...

I can't think of anything that I would want
my spouse to buy for me. Maybe a lip gloss.
He was kind enough to buy a brand new computer
for me at the beginning of the year.
And, I love it!
The only gift that would make me happy is to
get my website/blog off the ground and profitable.
But, that's something I can give myself with even
more hard work.
He's been super supportive and helpful.
And, I can't imagine my life without him or our daughter.
For me, a happy family is the best gift of all.

Hi there eihdra!
Well, Christmas is just around the corner. By now, I have my Christmas Wish List. I must admit that I have a lot on my list. Some of them are not really important. On top of my list is a new laptop. Preferably a MacBook Air. I also would like to have a blue ray DVD player. I would like to upgrade my old DVD player.

Hi eihdra! I don't really know what I want for Christmas
yet. I had thought about a new set of pots & pans but
I told my boyfriend that should be for both of us and
then he said we don't need them! So other than the perfume
that I mentioned in the other discussion that I know I am
getting for my birthday I haven't really thought about
what I want yet. There are lots of things that I want but
the only person that is going to buy me anything will be
him and he has a daughter and 2 grands to buy for so I
don't know what he will be buying me! So I guess I will
just have to think about it for a bit longer!

hi, Opal..With your response on my other topic about money issues, i know what you mean...Well, frankly, if he wanna give you something, then he will have to save more to at least squeeze you in the budget for Christmas..Anyway, you're his partner...
thanks...and I hope you get what you wish for...

I don't really want any "big items" this year. I already purchased for myself everything I just had to have lol. There are just a couple of Music CD's I want on my list and maybe some new clothes. I'm not picky at all. One can always use new clothes!

I got everything I wanted for christmas. As this discussion is 6 months old and as
christmas is long past, I don't have a wish list anymore and I did receive most of
what I wanted.
Not that I wanted a whole lot as I am not a mterialistic person. But I got my winter
boots I wanted and ski pants. And I got a couple bottles of my favourite perfumes and
I got some clothes and a pair of pearl earings.
But most importantly I got to be with my daughter for the first time in 7 years, for
christmas. We lived in two different cities for 7 years and either when I went to
Winnipeg for christmas she was in Mexico or somewhere and so we didn't spend it together.
Or I couldn't make it to Winnipeg and she couldn't make it here in Calary.
But now we live together in Calgary and we spent a christmas together. Also my hubby
came to Calgary for christmas too. Right now he is living and working in Winnipeg.

I would rather just be able to spend time with my family, friends and the ones I love. My boyfriend said it best he wanted to spend the day with me cuddling and drinking hot chocolate. I'd rather be a giver not a receiver.

Well this year me and my fiance are hoping my parents get us a new laptop because that is what we asked for this year,we have one laptop but it is not the best, and if we get another one,me and her will be able to both do our mylotting from the den or our room without having to stay in the computer room, which means we will be able to do other things while we are mylotting without having to be in separate rooms to do things.

I don't expect any gift from anybody this Christmas except from my hubby.Anything would be acceptable for me because i know its coming from his heart. My daughter used to give me a card which is very touching to me.I will treasure whatever gift they would give me.It really doesn't matter what it is.In fact their love is more than enough gift for me.

Al i wish for Christmas is an Apple laptop. I hope this year I could get this gift from my someone. I been crazing for Apple laptop since few year ago. Yeah.. anything that we get from anyone is an appreciation that cannot be forgiven. Beside we should cherish what they offered to us and return to them with a better gift. Hope to get more gift than last year...
