I hate when they talk about other people in the office...office drama... I can't stand that. I hate it when they grumble about not liking their job and wishing they didn't have it...it makes me want to say well at least you are getting paid and there are lots of people out there that wish for a job. I know sometimes you all have days like that but I mean when they say it all the time. I also hate it when they talk so loud on the telephone that you can hear them down the hall. I'm sure I could think about lots more that is annoying that co-workers do but I'm just so tired that I can't think of them right now.

Annoying things? Well. I get really annoyed when people talk too loud in the office. Especially if I'm doing something that I really need to finish. Another would be when they bug me for no reason at all. Those are two of my pet peeves at work.

I hate colleagues grumbling during work,it's really annoying and disturbing especially early in the morning. For me,normally in the morning,I would like to start my day with peace. I don't like noise especially people grumbling and complaining. I hate that a lot. But somehow, one of my colleagues likes to grumble a lot,she likes to complain about people's work early in the morning, and creates all sorts of complaints which make everyone feel really annoying.

That's really very irritating, grumbling and complaining.
“People who soar are those who refuse to sit back, sigh and wish things would change. They neither complain of their lot nor passively dream of some distant ship coming in. Rather, they visualize in their minds that they are not quitters; they will not allow life's circumstances to push them down and hold them under.”
Good day!

I dislike people who turn the office into their own homes, like they play loud music, laugh loudly, place their feet up..etc. I see them as inconsiderate and uncaring. People in the offices should be aware that there are other people with them and should behave accordingly. An office is a place of work.

For one, disturbing someone when they are busy. digging into your lunch box. gossiping and bringing in misunderstanding.

What I don;t like is when people in the office just walk into my own office and interrupt a conversation I am having with someone else at the time. It is clear I am deep in discussion so the polite thing to do is either wait until we are done, or apologise for the interruption and then ask their question. But many people don't and they end up just walking in and talking to me or the other person without even acknowledging at all that we were discussing something in the first place! Same goes for not knocking before entering my office. This drives me crazy and I blast everybody that does it! lol.

one thing that bothers me is when people just don't show up. i doesn't matter if you work your butt off when you are here. if you are not here then that's a big problem. i am dealing with that now in my office. then you got those who are here everyday, but don't do anything. i honestly don't know which one is more of a pain in the A$$!!

When someone taps their nails on a desk, especially when they have long, fake, acrylic nails, it drives me nuts. Or they tap a pen, or they hum very loudly. Or if they are at one part of the office and someone on the other side cannot hear them, they yell to be heard. Ugh!

Being Mr or Ms Know-it-all. It's like they know everything and what you're doing is wrong or there is a better way to do it. I mean not all of us have the same procedures. It would work with some other people but it may not work well for you. But for them their way is the right way and that pisses me off. Second to my list would be crab mentality. All those gossiping to bring you down, man, that's kids stuff. I mean why can't they just be happy for you like you are for them. Geez.

I will answer you on the basis of my own experience. For co-workers, I hate laziness and irresponsibility. Those who do not do their duties well to the expense of her co-workers. I also hate those with crab mentality...forever envious of people who gets promoted.
For high ranked persons, I hate those who shout at their subordinates. I also hate those who do not give due compensation to those who deserve. I hate also those who take advantage of their position to gain money.

Well the most annoying for me that co-workers does is gossip. I have worked before and experienced hearing gossips about other co-workers. It's annoying. Especially when they starts talking in groups and you're not included in the group and you happen to pass by they will start to gossip about you. You'll know they are talking about you with the way they look. Most of the employees that gossips are those women nearing retirement, the elder women.
Ciao!

well, i work in an ngo where our work system and our duty assigning is very flexible. it's because what we are doing is vary depends on the need in the certain time. say, in a night meeting, after we list all work we will have to do the next day, our boss will assign the works to us in democratic manner. it's like 'can you do this, this and this?' and we say, 'ok'...or 'sorry, i have to do that tommorow'.
what i hate is when a colleague accept the assignment and promise to take the responsibility of doing it; then he/she just don't do that due to 'completing other duties', he/she directly ask the other to complete that, which of course have to do that hurriedly because the remain time is usually very limited.

I hate people who express their frustrations with others by banging on the tables, doors, chairs or files (anything that can't fight back)!
I have a colleague who does that. She got angry with either her maid, husband or someone whom she could not hit back at; so she would take it out on the furniture and files. I can't talk to her about this behavior, without her creating a scene. I tolerated it as long as I could, until one day she did it again, and I banged my files on the table just as hard and as loud! She got the message loud and clear; and stopped doing that in my presence.

there are many thing that i hate that happens a work environment. in fact it's a chain reaction and a long list. let's start with gossips -- we know for a fact that this will never cease. and what i hate most too is when they gossip about me. i mean, you do your job but other's still try to pull you down. so let's include that, 2 & 3 would be insecurities & crab mentality. so they're insecure about in some ways & with these they try to pull you down. not only will they act as your collegue slash friend but they will back stab you, so that's 4th in our list -- pretend to be your friend when you're infront of them & backstab you when you're not there. some worst officemates are those who have the guts to gossip infront of you, i mean you would even hear their side comments. this are just some of the few list that i hate most and i guess i'm speaking with experience. i know i can never escape such but i try to move on with my work. people like this will never succeed.
