What will make you stop from blogging?

I have been blogging for more than a year, and I must say that I really enjoy what I am doing. In fact, I decided to be a professional blogger 3 days ago. However, I know some bloggers who have stopped blogging for different reasons. So, how about you? What will make you stop from blogging? I will place here some reasons to choose from, and I will be happy if you can explain to me why will you choose it? 1.0 Very low income. 2.0 Very low traffic. 3.0 Running out of topics to discuss. 4.0 Poor communication skills - finding hard to communicate in English 5.0 Not sociable enough to deal with fellow bloggers. 6.0 Limited time - has other obligations such as school, work, family, etc. 7.0 Other reasons that you can think of. Thanks and happy blogging!

I think to me blogging is just to express my day, mood and experience. I am just sharing what happened to friends of mine. It's probably like a open diary that you are sharing with your friends? Sometimes you could even vent your anger by writing all the unhappy things that happen to you.

Yes, blogging is an open diary where we can share with our friends and it is just alright to have one. All of us need something to do to release our emotions - happiness, anger etc. However, our blog is very much open to the whole world and our words can influence people especially to young bloggers. In fact, the numbers of kid bloggers are drastically increasing and they are hungry for knowledge. While it is the parents responsibility to guide their children, it is also our responsibility as blogger to share good values. We may never know, our children or future children will be reading such dirty words and for sure, we will not like it. With this, we must be careful when we use words that are not really appropriate to write. We must be mature enough to think that Internet was created to be useful especially for the future of the children.

I have a blog and I enjoy writing it. I try to write 3-5 times a week. Sometimes it can be discouraging if I don't get traffic. Then again, sometimes I feel that there may not be that much interesting to say. Of course other situations may reduce my blogging time such as work or other obligations. Then again, I need a new computer so I am limited to time right now cause I am using my husband's laptop.

Yes fatherblogger, happy to meet you here. I have been actively blogging one of my blog on fiber optic cables, the subject I like to talk with and write. I am getting around 30 unique visitors per day and makes around 200 page impressions a day. I know this is very little. But I have not joined for any kind of link exchange programs. Also I removed links to Payperpost and izea. But still that blog gets some traffic. I think it is because I blog on it daily. From your list I will select Limited time - has obligation with family. That will be a biggest trouble in the future too, I am sure. I love to blog, but family is bigger than blogs. Thanks for asking.

That's a good answer, family always come first. Ironically, this is one of the reasons why I choose to be a stay-home father - to be always with my family. Right now, I do not see my children as burden to my blogging time. Although it is quite hard to make myself focus on 2 different things at the same time. That's why I blog more at night. There will be no more bosses to scold me if I wake up late, anyway. he!he!he!

NOTA (None of the above), lol..What would stop me from blogging is having no internet connection at home. it would be impossible for me to blog if this happens because I usually blog during the wee hours of dawn and at erratic hours of the night or day when I find the inspiration to write. It became my way of life and also one very good source of income. The income was trickling during my first months of blogging but now, offers are coming everywhere and I could hardly cope up.... It's great to write (which is my passion) and earn at the same time. Cheers.

Limited time would be the only thing that would prevent me from blogging, with the possible exception of a very long power out, lol. Have computer will blog! I appreciate my blog's readers, but not having traffic would not discourage me from blogging, and although it is fun to make a little money I am not doing it for the money. I have seen some blogs by people whose language skills are not stellar, but who nevertheless have very interesting blogs, and that surprised me a bit at first (being something of a language snob myself } but with a good layout and interesting topics some people have become quite successful at blogging despite rather than because of their language proficiency. The socialization question is interesting, and I think that to make any measurable amount of money blogging it is good to interact with the blogging community, but if one doesn't care about all that, interaction is not all that necessary. One can still blog~

I tried bloggin twice, and i had to stop twice because the 1st time, i forgot about my password and thus i have to start another blog all over again.. haha =D ANd for my 2nd time, i quitted as i dun have the time to blog as i was serving in the army during that time, and also, i dunno what to post in my blog too, thus i gave up.. BUt now, i'm thinking of starting a blog again, and thsi time round, i'm gonna be very serious about it.. ONe of frenz advised me that, if i dun havhe the time, it's better that i dun start a blog, because starting a blog takes quite alot of time, and that it requires alot of effort too ^_^ But still, i will wanna start a blog once i get my laptop, so that i need not share the desktop with my brother anymore, and i will have time to blog instead.. lol

First of all i am a blogger. I do blog without getting paid. Is there any income for blogging??? I really don't know that. The reason i will stop blogging would probably be 6. I still do blogging now but i am sure that one day when i when out to work i may have less time to blog.

I think its only time... sites like this one helps you to communicate and get some dollars... only if you don't have time you aren't going to read interesting stuff and discuss them with people all around the world... It sure helps you be open-minded and see how some people think about issues that your friends or people from your country think of it the same way as you...
