My mom called me and told me to go to this website and read about this late term abortion and how some babies live and such and how Obama voted to allow it to keep going on. How sick.

It will make you cry to read this stuff and to think that anyone could vote for Obama.
Just evil.

I guess I'm just going to have to keep repeating myself as this comes up again and again. The bill in question was worded in such a way that it left the door open to potential court supreme court challanges of Roe vs Wade. It could have possibly made all abortions illegal.
NO ONE who opposed the bill is FOR late term abortions. Late term abortions are sick and disgusting but legislation is very word specific and, due to partisan infighting, the wording that concerned those who support safe and legal early term abortions was not changed so the bill was voted down.

LOL Time for another discussion spall? You'll have to say it 100 more times and it probably still won't do any good.

I know Zeph, but I am always hopeful that at least some folks will be interested in what the facts are instead of being limited to the half truths and drama put on here by the pro-lifers. Seems to me that if you have to lie to make your point, your point wasn't a very good one to begin with.

I have actually read of her life story I still have the book today. For someone to support something so late in term and then not even try to save the baby that survived the abortion. That is murder. Is all I have to say. Not giving medical attention to a baby that has survived and suffering. Abortion makes me sick period and it makes me cry. Cause there are people out here who want children and can't have children and would love a baby. How can anyone deny a baby life and be for allowing a surviving baby from abortion to suffer and die without any medical attention. That has gone too far. As you can see I am totally against abortion.

You don't care what the facts are, kennyrose. People like you want what you want regardless of the needs and wants of other women. Barak Obama and the others who voted against the bill did not do so because they're **murderers*** (you're so dramatic) but because protecting previable (do you know what that word means?) infants must be balanced with protecting the rights of women in this country.
I realize that you, and people like you, couldn't care less about the health and safety of American women so by all means continue to rant. As far as the Catholic church goes...of which I am a member...my church and my Pope will NOT tell me what to think or what I can and cannot support. My God gave me free will and I will exercise my right to use it whenever I so choose.

Abortion is one issue where I definitely disagree with Obama. I tend to be very pro-life, with the exception of if the mother's life is endangered, the baby won't survive, or rape. Other than that I am pro-life and I am VERY against late term abortions. This is really sad.

I was offered an abortion at 36 weeks pregnancy and that was the most sick thing I have ever heard. My son is now 16 months old and he has spina bifida. He is a lovely child and am pleased that he was born. I had a look at the website and it showed a photo of a person that has survived abortion. She is a lady of more than 30 years old and it shows that if allowed to live life could be wonderful. I would never have an abortion. I respect other people's decisions. In an early abortion the baby will, sadly, be killed. In a late abortion I think that if alive after an attempted abortion the baby should be allowed to live. The mother does want him or her so I suggest adoption. Luckily I don't have to decide to vote for anyone that has supported something so evil.

I have just ordered a copy of Gianna's story. Her mum was 7 and a half months pregnant and she went to have a saline abortion. She was born alive and the abortionist wasn't around. Luckily a nurse sent for an ambulance and she was taken to hospital and put in an incubator for two months. She learned to walk by the time she was three and a half years old. She seems like an amazing person that was meant to live. Abortion is so sad.

I heard about this! I'm pro-choice, but to be honest, hearing this is knowing about some of that stuff just made me sick!!! I can't believe that someone would support late term abortion!!! I couldn't imagine doing that to my child!
