Amen to that. There are two books in particular that have gotten me through probably the darkest periods of my life.
1...THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE by Rick Warren
2...GOD ARE YOU THERE? by Kay Arthur
Both of these Christian authors are exceptional. The inspiration found within the pages of these two books, though it doesn't compare with the Bible, is well worth the money spent on them.
I also try to read a daily devotional for ongoing inspiration.

I have that book and study. I love it have to finish it though. We have to stay in the word are we loose some of are connection with God. God Bless

I read a book that was called "Rv There yet" A Christian writer by the name of Diann Hunt. It was a fun book that made me laugh out loud several times. It made me see that getting older is not really going to be all that bad. I am going to start her next book called
" Hot Flashes and Cold cream" Never to early to prepare

I can't wait to read this one it made me laugh already before I even read it. I am at that age loosing it every time I have a hot flash. God Bless

I just finished reading "Monster" by Frank Peretti. It's a fiction Christian novel, but it showed me that no matter the situation God is there with me and he strengthens me through my hardships. I'm in the middle of Blue Like Jazz though I'm not sure how I feel about it yet.
