How do you feel when you get 0 responses or very few responses ?

Hi there! I feel sad of course if I get few responses for my posts but that doesn't make me lose enthusiasm in posting again. Actually starting discussions depends on my mood. I don't force myself to make discussions. I can't think well if I'm not in the mood. I just try to start at least 1 discussion everyday. Ciao!

Hello, sumiirajj. I hardly ever create discussions here in myLot. They usually get my mailboxes full of responses, which I spend hours and hours commenting on. I believe it's easier to just answer the discussions that have already been created by other users. By that, you can make new friends too, and you can earn basicaly as much as if you created your own discussions. I usually don't get many responses when I dare to create a discussion. Perhaps it's because of my lack of friends, perhaps it's because my discussions are not good enough for those who read. The real reason I don't konw, what I know is that I do not get as many responses as I would like to. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Hi I usually start a discussion when ever something comes into my mind.I generally get very few responses as well and 0 responces sometime,but I don't mind for that.Because discussion that I haved started is not proper or they may not like my discussion.I always try to post the responces for the discussions,because I think its the easiest way instead of starting a discussion,......

nothing to feel when we don't get responses. Now atleast some people respond it was very difficult at the beginning and I wanted to quit but now it's fine and I try not to start too many discussions

luckily I still hadn't a discussion with 0 replies but a lot with very few responses, but I think that it doesn't matter if someone gets few responses, the one that counts is only the first response, the rest is just for rating... I think so

Hmm got disappointed at first but its ok. Maybe because the topic we choose is not that interesting to others. Or maybe because our friends were not online yet and not able to response on our discussions. In choosing a topic you must think of one that is general readers can relate. you will not just limit your topic in a specific readers. keep on posting and for sure people will recognize your name if you keep on posting discussions and make friends here, that's the secret...

I don't care about how many responses my discussions will get .Because as long as one response comes back ,I think my discussion makes sense .What I care more is whether my topic is useful for me and the mylotters .So if my discussion receives no response ,I will think whether my topic is not interesting to us.So I will try to change or improve it.

I would be discourage and sort of stop starting discussion. Instead I would prefer to respond to other user discussion.

Well, the last time I started a discussion. I got four responses within a span of some hours. I was excited that people were responding. Then, it stalled. I felt, oh c'mon, let's start another one. I did. It got around 15 responses. But over a long period of time. So I thought. Maybe, discussions starting is not my thing. So I have not started many discussions off late. But now, my discussion sense is tingling and I might start one or two discussions soon. bourne

Hi Sumiirajj, I would feel rather disappointed if there is no response at all; so even if there is one response, I'd be happy. As to starting discussions, it depends on my moods, rather than the response to my discussions. Sometimes I can't think of any topics, or don't have any ideas at all. So I would respond to other myLotters' discussions instead!

I really want to delete the discussion I started but get 0 response, but mylot does not provide us this function.

i will start a new discussions if i get 0 responses or little responses,because if have less people response me ,i will have no interested in this discussion ,or there are may be many wrongs in my writing ,because my english is poor ,in many cases ,i writed english using wrong word or syntax ,so many people can not understand me in this condition ,let alone to response me .

you know what? i feel sad if thats the result of mine. i feel nothing. can i ask you a question? how do you do that? how come you have a lots of responces? how? can you please tell me?

I am at the point now sumiirajj where I am happy to get even the one response these days! The time between posting a discussion and getting that first response can be agonizing to say the least and the second you see that first reply the sigh of relief can probably be heard miles away! It is so hit and miss with discussions on here and I sometimes get many and sometimes very few. All I care about is at least one! And no, I will not start another discussion topic if I am waiting for replies to one already created. I will just search around and reply to other discussions and keep checking back to my own until I get some hits.

Hi! When the discussion I started got only few responses, I feel sad and disappointed and kinda stop for awhile to start discussion till I think of a topic that I think will be interesting. But despite that, even though I only got few responses, I'm still thankful and happy that there are responses and also to do my best next time I start a discussion. Happy Mylottin!!

It's really discouraging when you get zero responses especially if you feel the topic is really good and sensible. That sometimes discouraged us to post again. But it also teaches us some lessons on what topics are not attractive to most people here. But I am just sad if the topic is really great and no one or very few responded. Sometimes, it makes you feel like not posting any topic again.

Well,Every day I start mylotting with a new discussion.As you said,I also get some good numbers and some bad numbers for our responses.But,I will continue my discussions without any stopping.I do at the same rate even if I maximum responses and even if I get 0 responses...I feel some thing might have go wrong if my discussion haven't got any responses..Then I'll go for a new one. When I get good number of responses ,then I'll try to deliver the same or some what better discussions...

i try to make less discussions and try to post more because i am still trying to get what people like and i learn lot more by answering others discussions and if i do get less responses i still have some things to learn that maybe it was not good or the people weren't able to respond to it. and it helps in a way and i never try to start a new discussion if one starts to get some responses because the more the people see of you the less popular you get.. just an opinion
