Does your mylot posts reveal the real you? Are you autobiographic in your posts? Do you narrate real stories from your life and your families or do you invent stories in your posts?

It does in a way. Of course personal things remain personal, but the answers and topic reveal my true nature. I reveal what kind of a person I am, not what kind of life I live. Some stories are personal, but mainly I speak of what I think not of what has happend to me.

Yes, they do, because I have a lot of knowledge on careers, relationships and self empowerment which I am always sharing with others. I believe in honesty anyway and treat MyLot members as I would treat someone I meet. The best way in life is to be one's self and others can then relate to you better. I enjoy being myself and so my writings always reflect the real me.

I would have to say that 99% of my discussions are about my daily life. They are now and always have been. I would never invent a discussion. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Sometimes I may say a few personal things here but most times I keep my discussions and responses pretty general. And most of my responses are to answer other peoples questions, like this one. So it doesn't usually get too personal. I don't really believe all the stories I read here about people's lives. Some of the things people post are just too unbelievable, as in how can some people have so much drama in their lives?

It's a little of both. Most of it is true but sometimes I do invent stories, or I tell my stories as if they were someone elses or someone elses as if they were my own. That is to get opinions that are not biased towards it being mine or not mine, if that makes any sense.

Yes I think that my mylot posts reveal the real me, whether I can say I am autobiographic in my posts, well let's just say I don't think so. I don't like sharing too much personal information so there is usually less discussions on myself and family then say, I've done on other forums when I was younger. I don't invent stories in my posts and if I do I will say it's a story or the way I will type will reveal that it's a story. Using he or she instead of Mary Kay And Barbara is one example of how I differentiate between fiction and reality, lol!

Everything I post here on myLot is the real me. I haven't got much imagination so I would find it difficult to invent stories. Maybe that is why I respond rather than post topics. My daughter is also a member of myLot and she sometimes invents stories. They are funny and harmless and lots of the other members enjoy them.

My posts usually do reveal me, when I say I do this or usual do this...I do. Or when I talk of my family it is my family.

yes my mylots posts reveals the real me. if someone has the time and go through all my posts, i'd say they will really understand me. i post what i think and what had really happened to me. i'd even go as far as saying that whoever reads every single posts i've made will know me more than most of my friends does. i don't see why i want to invest stories to posts here in mylot. no one here knows the real me so i'm free to say what i really think. cheers ;p

I'm just myself here. I don't have much of anything personal to promote or hide. I'm a pet sitter. I'm an animal lover. I do animal rescue. If you look at my friends aviators, they are almost all animals. Animals are my life. That's the real me.

I guess if it is my post of discussion that would lead to a real me as a person and it is my real experience that I would like to post as a discussion here in MyLot......

I post stories base on articles i have read and things that happen on my friends. I dont just invent topic to create something interesting. I normally base it on my life or people around me.

I don't have that much of an imagination. And I don't have the energy to make things up.All my posts are true. But my username isn't my real name. It is the name I wish I had.

I would never make up a story about myself. I have enough life experiences to be able to write autobiographically in many discussions. I don't write about my family too much, esepcially those who are still alive, because anything posted at myLot is available to the entire world through the search engines, and I don't think it's right to say things about other people on the internet, even if it is a good story about them. I express my own feelings and opinions and will share some of my experiences, if I think it will add to the discussion or help someone else.
