If you was to go camping, whom, and how many, people would you take with you?

I would want my 3 children and their spouses. Well my youngest does not have a spouse. If he has a girl in his life she could go. He does not now. It would be nice if he did. But all 10 grandchildren would go. My husband, his 2 brothers and myself. So that makes 19 posibly 20. That is our family.
It would be so much fun. It usually is. It's even more fun when my husbands brother and his son and daughter come in from Oregon and they join us in our activities. We all like doing the same things.

It is nice to have a close family in spirit and mind. I just wish we were all living close together again. My sons are looking for something up her, so hopefully they will find something. We are blessed that we all can make all the visits we do back and forth. With gas prices, now I wonder. But we've been sharing rides to alleveate that problem sme.

Hello cream. I have never been in a camping, but if I go, I will have some of my good friends join me. I think that it is more fun to have some friends together for the camping and it is safer with more people together with you outside camping.

whether alone or with lots of friends, camping is the life. away from the hustle and bustle of life. i wish i could camp everyday. oh wait, then i guess it wouldn't be camping anymore....or would it? hmmm, i think i could use some time off myself (from reality, that is)
p.s.....just what are the 4 or 5 people "keeping a watch out" for? LOL

When I was young, I camped with 5 other people--my family. Sometimes we'd be accompanied by friends of my parents. When I grew up I camped by myself and if I were to camp now I would be alone, too. I'm not afraid of wild animals, although you seem to be! Hang your food high in a tree and they won't bother you! The only "dangerous" thing I ever encountered was a curious coyote that poked his nose into my tent.

If the time and money existed iwould love to go camping and take all my cousins 15 with me and of course my kids and my siblings too.
It has been a long time since we got together since we all live in different states, but when we do get together it is a lot of fun and we laught alot. We don't see each other often but when we do it feels like it was only yesterday the fun we had.
We grew up together until about ten years ago they moved away.
I miss them dearly and would love to take them for a nice camping trip and enjoy the outdoor.

I like to go backpacking a lot, and although I've never been on a solo trip before, I would really like to. I think there's something to being alone with nature, and really being able to concentrate on the forest/mountains around you.

I have to ask, what are the 4 or 5 people keeping a watch out for? As for me, we go camping a lot during the summer months, and it's fine with me if it's just me and my s/o and our dog, a relaxing weekend of reading, sitting and talking by the campfire. About once a year, my daughter and her husband joins us for a camping weekend, which is fun too. But, I don't need that many people around to go camping and have an enjoyable time.

Just the family, 4 people is enough. We all snore in harmony so anybody else would mess up our cicadian rythm.

If I was to go camping I'd take six of my family members and seven friends. For me this is an adequate comfortable group of people. We could roast marshmallows at night around the campfire, sing songs and tell ghost stories. Or maybe even share our childhood experiences of going camping with family and friends, reminicing about the things we did.
