Ladyboy or boylady? Pls help me

In Tailand, they have changed the genders from boys for the purpose of living, they provide various shows to the tourists to earn money every night, but to date I still don't know what "they" are in English, sb told me they are ladyboy but others said they are boylady, I am confused about that, so could anybody pls tell me what they are in English? Thanks.

National Geographic Channel had a show on a few nights ago about these performers in Thailand. They called themselves Ladyboys. In the US we call them Drag Queens or Female Impersonators. In both countries though, some live their daily lives as women and some do not.
