Digital photography keeps getting better. Higher-resolution images, sophisticated but easy-to-use controls, and more. With that you will have a headache to decide which one to choose from. Here are some questions to ask yourself before you go shopping:
What do you need the camera for?
What type of photography will you be doing? (portraits, landscapes, macro, sports)
What conditions will you be largely photographing in? (indoors, outdoors, low light, bright light)
Will you largely stay in auto mode or do you want to learn the art of photography?
What experience level do you have with cameras?
What type of features are you looking for? (long zoom, image stabilization, large LCD display etc)
How important is size and portability to you?
What is your budget?
One of the main questions to ask when it comes to megapixels is ‘Will you be printing shots’? If so - how large will you be going with them? If you’re only printing images at a normal size then anything over 4 or so megapixels will be fine. If you’re going to start blowing your images up you might want to pay the extra money for something at the upper end of what’s on offer today.
Well, with the modern and sophisticated features, yes you can use, download and edit the pictures taken from the digital camera. Normally when you purchase the digital camera, it will come with the software however you can also get other picture editor software which can do magical to the pictures taken from the digital camera. You can even take video by using the digital camera and instance appear on your TV screen or monitor but you need to do a bit of connection. This is good for party.
The bottom line is you will never regret getting one. I always carry my digital camera with me together with my N95 Nokia because I can also take good pictures and video by using my Nokia N95 and transfer the pictures into my laptop or PC.

yes you get a memory card the same as the normal camera, with my Canon I got a tiny little card reader in a keyring pouch that I insert the card reader into then just plug it straight into my USB on the front of my computer, I have the option of installing the the software which I have done so I can take from the the card reader , this is good if you take the photos af raw or tiff then you can work on them from the Canon program or I usually just plug the card reader in and open the file when it comes up and use the jpg's...with my camera I can choose to take the photos in all jpg's, in raw or set to take each pic in raw and jpg....its great...

Tou use a digital camera in the same way as a film camera. However, I strongly suggest that whatec=ver ou buy, you make sure it has an eye-level viewfinder. Many cameras today rely on the viewing screen to frame and compose shots, which is fine until you get out in bright light, when they become unviewable! They also use up a lot of battery power and are very slow to refresh when you use flash.
