Hello mylotters! I noticed that I've already earned four best responses since I joined myLot in May 2008. Am sure most of you guys, especially those who've been here for a long while have earned much much more. So how does it feel being marked best response? and counting your best responses? For me I sure did feel great the first time I got marked best response! and that was barely a month after I first joined up. It sure added to my excitement, and being appreciated for sharing your thoughts by someone you hardly know except for his or her discussion or response sure keep me motivated. What about you guys? How did you feel getting marked best response? How many have you earned so far since you joined myLot? Thanks for sharing! have a nice day...

Yeah, it is a great feeling to have a best response, really make me smile and quite motivate me as well to do my best in responding whenever I received one. Really feel thankful and grateful as well to the people who gave me best response. Just recently I received one and really can't help but feel happy, excited and thankful to received it. However, I am not too sure on how many BR I have right now, the last time I visited my best responses file, I got 11 BR since the time I joined here. Anyway, for me, having received a best response here in mylot is quite an achievement and really feel honored by it.

I used to count my best responses but after a couple I must admit I have lost count of how many I have actually been awarded. I must admit I do like the boost you get when you realise what you have written has been awarded the best in the discussion. Whenever I achieve one it just inspires me to spend even longer on here next time. Enjoy mylot and it's nice every so often to be recognised for my contribution to it.

it's great when you receive a best response from your post/s, it does gives you satisfaction that what you have written made someone satisfied also and the criteria depends on individual preference. yet it is still a good feeling to have one from time to time. i thin i lost count of how many i have already, this week i believe i got 4 or 5 BR's already and your's will be the sixth.
just kidding.!! anyway, keep on doing what you think is the best for you and that is out from you, speak from within.

Hello sirrob! I agree with that. Getting BRs is a so "feel good" thing. Judging from the number of posts to your name, I must say you've made a collection of your BRs, no wonder you lost count! Well, thanks for sharing..have a nice day!

Hi, I have got to say that I do count my best responses. I do belive I have 4 and I have signed up at the end of July of 2008. I never expected to get that many in such a short time, but I do get them it makes me happy knowing that my responses are very well important. But the long run though I'm on this site so I can let my voice be heard but I do get best responses it is exciting. I'm hoping to be able to get many more in the future. But till then I will keep doing what I enjoy and post away.

I have six best responses. At first I was feeling really great about the designation of best response, but then one day I got email that said I'd been given a best response. When I checked the discussion my only response was "OI OI." After being given a best response for something as silly as "Oi Oi" kind of lost the excitement for me. I mean I guess the best response depends on who is reading it.

Actually before I was counting all my best response. I felt this was my achievement here in Mylot, part of my hardwork. But remember not all best response picked are the best response indeed, its the jurisdiction of the owner of the discussion to whom they will choose the best response. But I appreciate all the response of my friends on my discussion. When I received a best response I feel a winner because all my hard work is paid, but due to hectic schedule i now forgot to count on my blessings.

I have earned quite a few best responses and I consider it a validation of my policy of trying to respond to a discussion as best I can. I have not tried counting my best responses though, and I have a little bit more than 4. Cheers!!

Hello! its good that you have that policy in you to respond as best you can to discussions. I myself appreciate it very much if mylotters respond to my discussions, and of course I also enjoy it once I get to the point of choosing who gets marked best response. I feel very encouraging when I have earned a best response for certain topics. I am happy with that,it shows that I can really give sensible and interesting answers to the topics. But so far I never count my best response,it's too little for me to count. Lol. I wish I can give more best responses in times to come.

You know it does'nt really matter how many best responses one earns here in mylot. It's more like giving your response to a discussion which interests you in all candidness. It's not like we intend to give a better response than the next one. Just give it your best shot regardless of the other responses, because its you speaking your mind, right? No, I don't count my best response. But I always check my best response box everyday. I want to know that my answer for the discussion that I respond is give them a correct and useful thing. So if I found a new best response that I get, I'm very happy and excited. Hope you get more and more best response.

I'm one of the new myLotters.Newer than you. When I get good response I am delighted and expect more response.I don't count the responses. I did not get best response yet.'Best' is superlative degree. That is highest form of response. I think my 'Best'will come long long after. When the 'Best' will come, that will be the final Response.I expect many many responses, including yours.Though I know you very little. My earnings are not yet remarkable.I hope I will be rich, may be richest.I wish your success. Thank you.

I do not count my best response. It is just because I do not get time to do so. Yes it does give a good feeling of satisfaction that my response is marked as a good response. However, I do not think that it is as important as to contribute meaningfully to the discussions.
We never know who the thread starter is and so we do not know the point of view of that person. In this case if he or she marks the response as the best, does not necessary mean that ours only is the best reply.
Even once I got negative marking from a member for making some comments he did not like. So that does not matter much. I just enjoy participating in discussions on mylot.

well, what really matters is that we enjoy posting in mylot and earn some at the same time. We may choose to mark or not to mark the best response to our discussion, but getting marked best response is indeed a bonus in terms of satisfaction and appreciation for our time in mylot. no, i do not count how many best responses that i have or get... lol
i can't keep track of stuff like that lol too much else on my mind all the time.
i know i have gotten a good amount i think.. i guess?... but i like getting them it feels cool/nice.. i like getting them but i don't ever really try to get them.. i just say what my mind is thinking.. hehe
