sorry if i seem like a jackass, most my freinds are foriegn in my country, in norway, and i hang alot with them, but no one seems to keep to thier own anymore you know, chinese mix with vietnamese, blacks with latinas, asians with whites, many of my forieng freids agree people dont stick to thier own kind anymore, national pride and heritage is lost, you can complain all you want, but if your mixed german/polish, your not german or polish, your something weird lol get my point, im from norway and i wont even touch a swede even though they look like us, do anyone still follow thier people or what

I don't want to be rude but this really sounds racistic. As a country and people we should stick togheter but that doesn't mean we can't see our neighboors as brothers and sisters. We all live on the same planet, so if we get along with our kind than it should be very easy to get along with other human races, we all are human there aren't any difference. Even I am not a pure Romanian, my grandmother was Hungarian so my mom is half Romanian and half Ungarian, though we have the roamian identity because we grown up in the romaian country. And from your ideas of following your kind than that means that you must follow the whole kind, the ones same as you and as you know people from diffrent regions of the same country aren't the same (different way of dialect, way of thinking etc), so the west population has to stick with the west and the norths with one living in north and so on? So i can't get your point. You may have half blood german (taking your example) and half blood polish but you can b a citizen german or polish, depending where you've grown up, nowadays you can be both as the same time. For me this isn't weird, it's quit wonderful beucase these are sings that we can get along with other nations. I truly can't understand you why do think this way? We may live in different country but we all live on the same planet, same dimension. You can be jew, gipsy, englishman or american, indian, poland, german etc it doesn't matter at all. We ALL ARE HUMANS and, either you like it or not, we are the same as souls and we are brothers and sisters, we only get judged by what we do, act and think. ANd to answer your question I do follow my people by I also follow the others around me and the others around them, I respect all, even if there are some things that i don't like of someone I still respect them. I hope that you will change this way of thinking so that you can meet people from iother nations how great they are. But I'm not forcing you, you have the right to free speech and to choose what you desire, but still don't forget that we all are a big family, good or bad we live together.

of course, its good to see your neighbours as brothers and sisters, i respect all too, but i just think that globalization is going a little to fast, i dont want a african bushman marry a arab girl, it dont have to be negative you know, its about the past and tradition, not about "disliking others"

I understand you, still not wanting the marriage between two cultures is enough to create a Big Bang of comments... as you can see.

Dude you are totally racist. Im black but I hang with other people. I have white, asian, ethiopian friends. Its cool talking to people from different backgrounds. I don't mind marrying someone from a different background, although I prefer a black man. Whoever Im love is who I would marry. Its cool talking to other people. Dude you would not last in America. We are all mixed with something.

i think you are... if you don't like marrying people from other ethnics, that's fine... but you can't make other people to follow you... sometimes mixed marriage is good as they can learn the different culture from each other and it makes the married life more colourful and enriching... take care and have a nice day...

Well you know if you are white and are proud of your own ethnic group, you are a racist, but if you are black and proud of your own ethnic group, you are not. I am white but a mixture so I am proud of that part of my heritage comes from the country that created Bach, another from the country that had the Trapp Family, another from a country that had Dickens and Jane Austin and another from a country that had these beautiful singers. But I did grow confused. You see my father was mainly German Austrian but he was shorter and had dark hair and I felt out of touch because I looked more like my mother who was part Welsh. And that Welsh was the dark Welsh, the kind that looked like the ancient Italians, so I am more inclined to be interested in Latin and the Romance customs then German or English. Does that make sense? But you see because I am not black or of a dark colored ethnic group, I cannot be proud of either sections of my background, because that is racism.

Also, I am kind of mix-race ( Chinese mix with Japanese). Thus it is sad! At some point, people can make a good decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence you in. Life can be messy. That's how we're made. So, people can waste their lives drawing lines. or, they can live their lives crossing them. But there are some lines...that are way to difficult for some people to cross. But here is what I know...If u are willing to take the chance... the view from the other side is spectacular.

I don't quite understand what your trying to say here.. are you saying that it has changed from hanging around with different races to hanging around with our race to sticking around with our nationality? I am definitely confused.

the other "races" that i know feel alot more strong about this then i, i just dont understand how anyone call themselfs "half this and half that", if your "half chinese" then your not chinese, in the future, china wont be a chinese cultural land of heritage, it will just be a place on the map called china since there aint no chinese left

WHO CARES???! Why do you care so much about other peoples business? If you want to stay with your own kind then that is soley upto you. Why should you judge others because they love others from another race? you are not god nor are you judge and jury. When you make comments like these on mylot you are sure to get responses about how bad your character is. Stop budding into other ppls business and mind your own.
