I usually drink my coffee with sugar and cream and lots of it. and while I have cut down, I want to cut to black( I'm also dieting). But i prefer sweet coffee, not bland. Is there anything out there that provide sweet coffee without having to add the sugar and cream? Thanks

Have you tried splenda, it's like sweet and low but tastes like sugar.

A clarification: Splenda is not SweetnLow. SweetnLow is saccharin(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saccharin). Saccharin has quite an interesting history in the US. Issues that stem from the USDA investigation of Saccharin are still unresolved today. Splenda, from what I understand, is a modification of a sugar molecule (chlorinated, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sucralose). Sucralose is usually combined with fillers to add bulk so that it is equal to sugar, volumetrically, and is very low in calories, but not calorie free (1.66 per tsp.).

If I had read closer, I would have seen that the original claim wasn't that SweetNLow equals Splenda.... So please take my post for what it's worth in informational content, and I'm going to get back to work, something I can halfway decently do. :)

It is a great idea to search in your area for companies who roast their own coffee. Coffee that is freshly roasted is a whole different experience than coffee that is purchased in stores and even Starbucks. Light roasted coffee can have a variety of different flavors. I roast my own with an iRoast home roaster and have had a few friends who have to have sugar and cream in their regular coffee, but the do not find it necessary for my freshly roasted coffee.
