I just wake up from my evening nap. I was hardly pressed on the mattress when I was trying to get up. I could neither shout nor move. I could only move my fingers. I had a dream when the incident happened,my dream was about a strange man kept on asking me to paste some weird and scary pictures on the rocks at hill side. All the pictures were like weird and scary dolls. The man told me that he was finding for them. I insisted not to paste the pictures for him but he kept on forcing me by blocking my way. I was scared, thus I pasted for him. After that,I felt myself was pressed on the bed by something. I wanted to shout for help but I could not move or talk. Did you experience this before? What was it actually? Was there a ghost in my bedroom or what? Please drop me comments, thanks.

well, i did. several times actually. although, i have to admit that it happened to me after a very scary dream, i still can't associate the dream with that phenomenon. someone told me i have sleep paralysis. this occurs during the first phase or the last phase of sleeping. usually, before you wake up or before going to a deep sleep. i don't think there's a ghost in the bedroom. if there are, you would certainly feel it even when you're awake. :)

I am thinking the same thing like you,it's unlikely there is a ghost in my room, but I am so scared. I never experienced this before until today although I had heard of some friends mentioned about sleep paralysis. Anyway, this was a bad and terrified experience. Thanks for the advice.

just pray. whenever i experience this, i usually change position and just stay awake for 3 minutes before going to sleep again. this most likely occurs again if i sleep right away. i know this is really frightening. according to what i've read over the internet regarding a study of sleep paralysis, some who experience this have hallucinations, and i have to admit that during the phase, i feel that someone is has their hand in my neck choking and that i see them! really spooky huh!. again, keep praying. try reading more about sleep paralysis to better understand it! :) have a good night sleep! :)

I've experience that too. But, I think that is a nightmare. Are you sure that you were awake when you said you were hardly pressed on your bed? Because that is a usual thing whenever a person is experiencing a nightmare. That sounds creepy though. Maybe there was something that you have to do. Or it could be a warning or something.

Warning? It sounds scary though. My mind was awake when I felt something was pressing hard on me,but I just could not get up but my mind was totally awake. I am so sure about this. I could not even open my eyes as I tried to grab something to get myself up,but I just couldn't.

I have experienced that many times before. I think it's called sleep paralysis. It happens either when you are about to wake up or when you are about to sleep. It's like you are paralyzed, and accompanied by bad dream. It usually happened to me before when I was tired, and I laid flat on bed. So what I did was to sleep on the left or right side. Someone also told me to drink water before bed time. I cant really say the effect but somehow it was helpful. I also wondered why I experienced it despite that I always prayed before going to sleep. Have you been stressed lately? It could be a cause... and, dont forget to pray! God Bless!

Thanks for the advice. But the feeling was so real that I had met with something horror(could be a ghost or something). Recently,I was fine with my job,not much stress or works, that's why I wondered why this thing happened. Sigh.

I used to have horrific nightmares similar to yours. I would wake up and I could nto get my voice to work to scream. Sometimes I could not fight my way back to awake. I knew that if I could wake up I would be okay because I knew I was a awake. It is a scary experience I know.
