Mga Pinoy! My mother wants to have a seminar training about raising Tilapia, Bangus, Honey Bee farming. I was thinking of "Ating Alamin" but the show is already defunct (correct me if I'm wrong). She is planning to do those when she go to our province. Can you help me help me? If you know any seminars or trainings just post it here.
Thanks guys! Happy posting!!

If it's fish pond business your mom likes to go into, then she can consult the Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). Its main office is at the Philippine Coconut Authority Bldg. in Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City. It also has regional offices. For other agricultural business ventures and trainings, visit the website of the Department of Agriculture. There are lots of information there. You may also like to visit the DOST's Technology Resource Center (TRC) in San Juan City. They also have a website. Just browse for it.

If she is after on that kinds of seminars, better ask directly on department of agriculture or on your local government. I believe they are the one organizing for the seminars on possible employment. Micro-business as they call it.

I would tell anyone that is planning on raising or growing plants or live stock to check out youtube. They seem to have a video for everything....Even fixing things on your cars...I hope this helps someone.

It's better if it's hands on training than just watching it on TV. Try the Technology and Livelihood programs of the TESDA in your area or you can inquire at the Department of Agriculture usually it has a local office or the office of the Provincial Agriculturist. They have trainings on that. My cousin handles trainings on tilapia processing etc, he's with the local DA but he's in Negros Oriental.

Hello, try exploring the Department of Agriculture or nearby universities, sometimes they offer such seminars. What I have in mind is TESDA, but I doubt if TESDA has agriculture seminars.
