what discussion is most likely to be a hit?

have you ever experienced starting a discussion where no one post a comment? or only 1 made a comment? i have some few discussions like that. & i thought to myself, what are the do's & don'ts of a discussion? what discussion would be a hit where it could be in the top list? do your mind if no one made a post?

I have experienced that you mentioned here, meanwhile i have found those concerning making extra money and pets always get so many responses, and those mylotters who are girls or ladies with beautiful images are most likely to be a hit, this is normal. Anyway, we must try our best to provide more interesting discussions.
