When people stare at you...

When I notice a person staring at me, what I usually do is go up to them and speak. I feel like they must see something they like about me, and are too scared to approach me, so I go up to them and speak. I guess I'm just a friendly person that doesn't mind someone staring. Although, if they are staring for the wrong reasons, this also stops them from doing so when they notice that I am paying attention, and calling more attention to it by speaking.

It's always weird when people ogle you. Before, I would always be self-conscious and I'd blush. I didn't understand why I would blush every time. I hated that. I used to have this experience when I roded a jeepney and there was this guy in front of me and he was really staring at me. It was so unnerving, plus the fact that he was cute, LOL. Anyway, I was so uneasy and I was blushing furiously. I hated that moment because he must've known that I was affected by his staring, which in truth I was. LOL. Anyway, that was me, 5-10 years ago. Now, whenever someone stares ate me i just opt to ignore him/her and I try to concentrate on other things. If he/she is persistent I stare right back as if to challenge him/her to a staring contest.LOL.

Depend on the situation , if it is just some girls staring and smiling at me then i would be smiling happily then yea . IF it is some nasty bunch of fools staring at me ,then i will be on my guard to counter .

I'm an identical twin. I'm used to being stared at. I just think they think they're seeing my other half.

There are times that you ignore people staring at you. It is best to confront them and ask why they are staring at you. Sure you will feel uncomfortable. The alternative way I do is to smile and laugh at them.. i say to them Hi people look at your self, I'm busy.

Hi The most inoying thing about ppl who stare is that many of them wouldn't look away when you look at them. They continue staring in a way that makes you wonder if there is something wrong with you or if you did or said something wrong. I ignore them (like you do) until they find something or somebody else to stare at. I dont think it is nice to stare at ppl as sometimes it gets to your nerves :D LOL but it is better not bother about it/them and just ignore the fact that they are staring. Happy MyLotting

I hate people staring at me, I am very self conscious and because I have a low self esteem I think they are staring at me because they think I am weird or ugly looking, and I turn away instantly. One bloke at the gym is an instructor and he is forever staring at him I just want to go up to him and ask him what his problem is, but because he is an instructor I don't want to make things awkward for my membership there, but he gives me the creeps. People don't usually look at me twice because I ain't attractive and when they do I think they are judging me.

It is okay if it is by accident he or she fell eyes on me. But if it is intended and malicious, i will surely give the person a disgusting look. I will walk away or turn my back.

I smile at them!! Sometimes they are embarrassed, sometimes they smile back, sometimes they do nothing. Do you think someone is staring but you are not sure, as when you look their way, they are not looking? Yawn and then turn. If they yawn, too, they were watching as most people yawn when someone else does. LOL

HI, When I see people staring at me, I usually just turn my head. I think it is very rude to stare at other people. It doesn't bother me when anyone stares at me. Sometimes I will look at them until they turn their head or just smile at them.Bless you. Have a good day

I think this is the animal in us that reacts to be stared at. We feel like prey and taht is very scary.

If you catch someone staring at you just smile at them and then turn your attention to something else. They may be trying to think of who you remind them of or if they know you, and what your namd is. But some people get to thinking and they look like they are staring but they are really thinging and not even seeing anything except what is in their mind. So there are many reasons that a person can look as if they are staring at you. Don't let it bother you or make you uncomfortable. I know that that is easy to say and not so easy to do . But just think like you are back in class. You are just making your self suffer. And if they are staring just to make you feel uncomfortable then if you ignore them then the joke is on them. So Take all these things to heart aned help your self and forget thoes other people. If they have something to say to you then they can come up to you and say it or leave. RIGHT! Act differently when someone stares at me, you betcha. I stare right back at them until they look away, and stop looking my direction. I guess I'm the odd ball, but if they really want to say something to me, I figure why not give the all the opportunity. Most people just start looking off into another direction.

If someone is staring at me, I probably don't want to know the reason! I guess I would just look away. Or, I would smile if they looked harmless enough. Hopefully I didn't do anything horribly idiotic that would give them a reasonable cause to stare at me.

I don't mind people who are staring at me I just let it pass and think positive about it. Like I think they are looking because they find me attractive or they are jealous..lol.. There are times that it's annoying though when the guy is staring lustily so I give them a dirty finger..or give them a big frown

It is common problem, which is faced by most of the girls/women, even here in India too. It is something to do with the mindset of men. I think, it is natural for a person to look at the person from an opposite gender (I agree it is percentage may vary from gender to gender). The best thing is to ignore the unwanted glances because if you pay attention, then you feel bad towards unwanted glances. Best of luck for your pending tasks.

That gives me the most uncomfortable feeling you can imagine. The only way I can handle it is to avoid looking at the person and forgetting that they're there. Besides, people who stare down others know what they are doing.

I am very paranoid about someone staring at me i always feels like there is something wrong with my dress ( maybe my blouse is unbuttoned)) , i have a dirt on my face or a morning glory hehahheh. Or maybe i am standing on a place i shouldn't be such thing i don't know

i just stare at them too! seriously i don't care its just a waste of time to react...

I cannot stand it when people stare at me. Why would they want to anyway? *LOL* But, yeah, it freaks me out! Please don't do it! :(
