Take Your Star Back

LL. You are really funny. It is the drawback of discussions on political & religious matters here. People who don't like your response will play with your star. I also joined a religious post. I usually don't like discussions of this kind but somehow did i got involved with it. And my rating fell from 84 to 76.lol I was lucky my star has not fell. By the way you got what you wanted.

You completely lost your star, or did the rating go down? I remember being a 98/100 and overnight going to a 91/100. I'm back up to 94/100, but I lost the ten star. I didn't post about it, but it had happened to a lot of other people. None of my discussions were controversial, but there were some that just didn't like me. One person was someone who wrote something pretty bad when I had posted about my uncle dying. Anyway, be careful though. Sometimes when people post about their star ratings, other mylotters rate you negatively just for mentioning it. I've always tried to rate people with a positive if I see their star go down. I'll go through all their discussions trying to 'plus' them back up.

You must of made some jerk mad for what you said that the way most star rating go down...all that you can do to get it back is to work hard on your discussions and posts some have gotten their's back in this of way.I know how you must feel i lost my too because of what i say about a jerk's discussion.And sofar i haven't gotten back to an 8 rating...

glords I am in the same boat. I was minused by someone who seemed to hate me overnight from ten to a s ix a nd finally have got back up to an 8 I did not disrespect anyone so this was just plain damned meanness. I want my ten back tool I will mark positive everyone and hope others will do the same, get rid of those who want to punish us unjustly for having opinions that do not match theirs. down with the bullies. You are just asking people to rate you plus???? I gave you + not because you asked but I know how you feel when you lose your 10. I have also faced that. But its ok yar. 9 is also a good rating only. Sometimes our opinions will be different from others. And they may mark -. Its all in the game of life. Take it easy and keep going. If you are just so fond of your star, then better don't post such topics. I mean about politics, religion and all such stuffs. Those will definitely reduce our ratings. Because there will be someone to oppose us in every situation. Lol. Just start some general topics and get rated. All the best.

ok... i know how you feel about losing your star... so i will help you to reclaim it back... you already have a star anyway and your rating is not that bad for a new comer... you already have a star rating of 8... to make you happy and get back your 10, i will rate you positively... take care and have a nice day...

Oh no, another star thread. I'll give you "-" to anyone who starts a topic about star rating. Here you go. Why do you people care so much about these stars?

I gave you a positive rating. I do not think people should be rated positively or negatively based on what they have expressed as being their opinions. Each of us is entitled to our own opinions. I think ratings should be more about how well we have expressed ourselves, whether or not the discussion topic in itself is a good one that has lead to lots of responses, and whether or not the topic even makes sense. I don't rate all discussions myself. But I rate those that follow what I have said above. There are a lot of discussions posted here that the wording is so confusing that you just cannot make sense out of what the person is trying to say. Those are just about the only ones I will rate negatively. I also will give a negative rating to someone who responds to a discussion, mine or someone else's, and their response has absolutely nothing to do with the original post which shows they did not really read the discussion to begin with. Most of the time I forget to rate the discussions. But there are very few negatives that I give out.

Hello,glords.I gave you a positive "+" rating.I totally understand your feeling about that.But i have not had this problem now,beacuse i am new here and i even don't have a star.I think i'll be a long time till i get a star. It's quite unfair for you be marked down merely beacuse you posted a controversial discussion and had different opinions with others.In my opinion,mylot is a place for us to discuss with others,to share our thoughts.We are from different countris and it's common that we have different opinions in politics ,religion or other stuffs like these.But i think what we mylotters should do here is just expressing our feelings and showing our thoughts.It's not a place for politics attack ,assault and battery.
