i did fall in love with my friend before.. she is just so amazing to be with and we really click to each other. unfortunately she doesn't show any affection to me. just FRIEND.. so i decided to befriend her only.. have you tried it? its really nice feelings but it hurts a bit.

you've got a point.. but do you think its not worth risking?? and who knows it might turn out great.. sometimes we can say that life is a gamble..

hey there! actually,the situation i had was the other way around.a friend of mine fell in love with me.lolz! but i only saw him as a friend,more of like a brother coz we were really close.i never he had feelings for me.unfortuantely,when i said no,he suddenly became very distant.i can't blame him for doing that,but he can't also blame me for saying no coz what i truly have for him was friendship,nothing more. right now,every thing had changed between us.we're like mere acquaintances than bestfriends.too bad! anywayz,happy mylotting!

Friends are friends and friendship should not be mixed with love.Though I admit that friendship can take a serious turn towards love but it should be mutual.I have never felt for any of my friends because they are good friends and it is better to stay so.I do not believe in making them my girlfriend.

I am actually in love with my best friend right now. In fact, my gut instinct tells me that he is, too. He acts that way towards me and you can just tell. However, we can't be together right now because he doesn't live in this state- and I won't do another long distance relationship. So, as of right now, we're just best friends. I'm not going to be one of these people that say "Oh, I hope in the future we get married and have kids." I take each day as it comes, and whatever happens will happen. If per chance we don't get together, we'll remain friends until the day we die.

You know what, I also went through the same phase as you. The feeling that you love your bestfriend and you sorta know that he loves you too. The good thing though is we got over our hesitations and talked about it. He was already courting me in his own way. lol! We have been together now for almost 3 years and our relationship is stronger than ever. However, like you, we will be in a long distance relationship in a few months since he will be pursuing his dreams outside the country.

sorry to hear that. i have a similar situation with u .but the difference is that i'm the one who say no. few days ago, one of my friends said he loved me , and wanted me to be his gf.but really having no affection to him , i take him as friend only. i know he was so sad about my abnegation.however, it's better to be friends than lovers if someone doesn't love u , isn't it?

yeah i agree.. and friendship can last long for me than having a friend who became you lover.. cause after the break up sometimes it can turn out that you will never be friends again.

Yes i have been in love before with a friend. But the problem was that she never loved me and just cause i loved her , i even lost her as a friend. Today i don't know how is she but i just hope she is doing well and has forgiven me for loving her. :)

Just continue being good friends...you never know when it could develop into a loving relationship. In a loving relationship, you must be friends first! Good luck.
