How long does it take for you to respond to a discussion???

I don't have the typing skills. So usually it takes me 5-10 minutes before I can respond to a discussion with 4-5 lines. Not to mention that sometimes I had to think of what to type, so that I would be posting quality responses. How about you? How long does it take for you to respond?

I typed slow so it takes few minutes for me respond! I try to write at least 3-4 lines and like you sometimes I'm struggling to write it longer or few more lines because I don't know what else to say. But theres some discussions also that I have a lot to say.

Hi Cjay77, even if you type so slow you still manage to post more than a thousand in just two months. I must congratulate you for that. 
Imagine how slow I am. I've been active for more than a month but look at my posts. It didn't even top half of your posts.

It depends upon the topic. If the topic is really easy for me to relate, I can type answer in 2-3 minutes or less than that. But if I have to think what to say, it took me several minutes before i can have my response sent. There are topics that are easy to make response especially if it is interesting to you. You have lots of ideas to put in if you like the topic and it is not hard to make a long reply in a short span of time.

Exactly! But more often than not, I find myself blank with words. I always try to respond with 4-5 lines as they say it does earn more. But sometimes when you've got nothing else to say and you still need one more line, that's taking so much of my time. I usually pause for a few minutes and think what else could I say. I didn't want to just respond without making any sense. So I try very hard to look for words that would suit the discussion.

The time I spend in responding to discussions depend on the topic at hand. It also depends on how much I've got to share. At an average, I spend around 1 minute to 2 minutes to respond to a simple discussion. For more complicated topics, I would probably spend around 3 minutes at the most to respond to such discussions. There are also times when I spend around 5 minutes or more on certain discussions. These are the times when I get distracted by the TV or someone at the door.

I wonder what I was doing wrong. I don't know if it's just my typing that's keeping me from posting a lot here on MyLot or I really am slow inresponding to discussions. I think I really need to time myself for every discussions I respond to. So that I won't take time to respond to a single discussion. Any suggestions?

it will take 2 minutes because, i need a minute to read a discussion and a minute to post a comment. after my posting, then i will watch the full discussion ( if it is useful to me!) happy posting!

I wish I could post responses in just a few minutes. Do you type fast? Responding to discussions in just one minute is simply amazing. How do you do that? Do you post 4-5 lines just like what the others have been doing?

It varies. When I know exactly what to say at that moment I've read the discussion, it takes me about a minute. But if I'd like to put every thought on the response, it takes me about 4-10 minutes, long or short. If I just want to add something to the discussion, about 30sec-2min.

Same as me. I wonder how many responses can you post in one day and how much time do you spend for it? I am planning to cut down on my time to posting here but I really am hoping I could do at least more than 20 posts a day to have a significant earning and reach the minimum payout every month. But with the rate I am going, I could hardly squeeze in more than 10 posts a day. Can you share your secrets with me?

It takes seconds! Then I post it and it has errors and I have to post again! I just say what I think and don't overanalyse too much!
