More than 10 Discussions per day and many replies. Then also I earned 40 cents!!

maybe your discuss is not good or can't make high points. you must make good discuss and good responses too. happy and enjoy my lotters !

It's about quality too. Few weeks ago I did the most T have done by starting 9 discussions and posting close to 30 posts and I earned $0.79... I wrote atleast 3-7 lines during that day. I know people here who did similar to what we did and gets around a $1. It's hard to decipher mylot algorithm but I'm sure it's about quality content. Goodluck!

well i guess you must understand that on mylot there is a matrix system that is used in rating your earnings and i must confess that few people or none understand it but the thing is as you move on in mylot you find that you get to improve on your earnings as you get better understanding of how things work here ,this has been my experiece for some time now i have not been making so many posts but just responses

Besides quality posts, you need to write a lengthy one as well. Did you start short discussions? Were your 30 posts short ones? Sometimes when I start a rather lengthy discussion, I seem to earn more. When I reply to the responses lengthily, I earn more. These few days, I started quite a number of disucssions but my earnings were not much, since my posts were short ones. So I think that the length of each post does matter too. All teh best! Nobody really knows how mylot admin calculates the earnings, but this is just my theory. It's probably about the length of each post.

you must have worked very hard to be able to start 10 discussions and 30 posts a day. i can imagine how you can manage your series of discussions, i mean reading the respond and and commenting on them with sense, etc. well, what you hear about that is just a myth. in fact, the payrate in mylot is not that low. recently i usually post a few responses - maybe about 5 - 10 post and comments (sometimes without starting a single discussion at all), and i rarely get less than $0.5. but the posts are lengthy posts and i try my best not to post just for the shake of posting. i try to post as descriptive and informative as possible, adding something in the discussions (though sometimes i cannot make it ) anyway, there are many possibilities why you get the amount despite your lots of posts: 1. it's just about updating time. some of your posts maybe haven't been counted in the last update. in that case, you will see the additional earning in the next update. so, just wait for the next update. 2. maybe some of your discussions or responses only contain a few words, one line, etc. in brief, maybe you forget to put 'quality' on it i don't know. i really don't know because, well, you started so many discussions and posted so many responses. it's better post only few respond but really focus on them. it will more rewarding. 3. is it possible that some of your posts are deleted? 4. the start rating. i guess, the higher our rating, the more we will get per post. just my guess.

What time did you do all these things? You are in a different time zone than we are and myLot works on a midnight to midnight day. If you posted after midnight central U.S. time, that activity will show up in tomorrow's earnings.

Hi there! Mylot payment isn't about quantity but more of the quality. Before I used to believe that quantity is what makes us earn here but in my experience, even if I respond to only 10 discussions and post 1 topic a day, I still earn around 50 cents. You've got to make quality discussions. Be more descriptive enough and that has a lot of sense in it. Try avoiding posting topics that has been discussed before. Even if its not the same title but the idea is the same you won't earn from it though they will not be deleted. I always suggest this to new users who aren't satisfied with their earnings. Don't think about how much you'll earn for every post and respond you make. Just keep on posting and enjoy the topics and you will not notice that your earnings will increase. Hope that helps. Ciao!

ok dont get disappointed i know it is difficult to earn here as you need to write more and more. as far as i know you get paid 2 to 3 cents per discussion and it depends on your discussion how much you write. but what you have earned is really good but as per you it is not enough but try next time may be later you will understand the pattern and then grasp the track how to earn hear. but all the best for the next time.

same thing happened with me few days before i made 15 new discussion's and response a few but i only get 40cent i was feeling so cheated that i decide not to use mylot again .i had made a quality discussion but don't know why anyway lets see if mylot thinks about it. anyway happy posting

I think they prefer quality more than quantity. So do not make any new discussion on meaningless things what is worthless to talk about. May be you will feel easiler if you treat myLot like other ordinary forums. You are here for sharing ideas and comments, but not strictly for earning money.

Hi there, I believe that I've experienced a lot of disappointment about myLot earnings and how it really works. I'm glad that for the past months, I was able to prove to myself how myLot rate our activities, I believe that the NUMBER 1 basis is based on the quality of our discussions and comments, we have to expound in our answers and give more effort in posting quality topics and comments.. I hope that somehow, myLot memebers will understand this part.. have great day!

Discussions aren't the best thing at times, I barely ever post them and I make out pretty well by just doing responses. If I make about 10 responses I typically make 30 cents, which is not too bad considering that I don't have to do too much because I am pretty busy in my daily life. It's not all about numbers all the time here, it's about quality and more so the length of what you post. If you post 100 responses with only a line of words in each, you won't make as much as you expected. It takes a lot of effort and thought to make good posts here at times, and others are just naturals at it. I don't really like to think about numbers and how much I put into mylot, I just like the pleasant surprise each morning, why make it out to be more like a job, you know? Mylot is my place away from my work and school haha.
