Christmas shopping this year is going to be hard for alot of people. I know having two kids it is scary to think how quickly christmas is approaching. Thank God for wal-mart.

I actually started shopping for Christmas gifts last week, there was this trade fair for collectibles. I managed to get a 6 disney cars and I only paid for 3, because they have a promo "buy one take one". Here in our country, Divisoria is the bargain haven almost everything is half the price compared to malls.

hehe, I don't have children now, I just stay with my husband. We will have a dinner in a fine restaurant, and I will buy him a good gift.

You are so right. Wal-Mart has always been a savior here. Unfortunately it will not be saving me this christmas. My kiddos are not into all the "popular" things, so I'm stuck looking at smaller, more expensive shops for them. I just spent about $50 on 2 items today for my son's 4th birthday! I'm only getting 1 or 2 more things, plus his at home party, and that's enough.
I also do not go crazy for christmas. They get a few things they really really like and want. It means more when there are 3 or 4 well thought out gifts per kid vs a quick "buy everything from the toy store" shopping spree.

Christmas shopping has not even crossed my mind yet, but after reading this discussion I've decided I'm going to start picking up things I see on sale or that are really great deals. This will probably help me avoid my usual frantic Christmas Eve mad dash to the mall.
