It was a little warmer up here in the desert, but I wouldn't call it a heat wave. It was only in the 70's. Now, if it were still in the 90's, that would have been nicer for me

hi fwidman its in at least the nineties, and very very still, scares me a bit as this sometimes predates a quake ,probably its just me as I am alone in the house while my sons up in northern Ca today. oh you have your purple heels back . great.

I hope there is no quake, I'm about to go sit in the bath tub in a bit and I don't want to be in the tub during such a thing as my two females in the house get nervous when there is a quake

Hi Hatley, Wow you must love it where you are I'm so envious, I'm in the UK and we have had no summer to speak of but we have had rain, rain, rain and just for good measure we have had more rain. I really don't know why we have had all this rain because normally we do get a decent amount of sunshine in the summer here unfotunately not this years, us Brits are water logged and miserable has we are now fast heading into winter so were all depressed from the lack of no sun...lol

hi scorpio love the sunshine but not the heat, its mostly sunny here though. but we are sadly in need of rain. things are so dry here that one match dropped would mean another fall of horrible wild fires. thats no fun at all. wish you could send us some of your rain. lol

After the months over 100 degree temperatures, I'm welcoming the coolness we are getting right now. In the mornings it is a bit chilly, but then it probably gets up to around 80 degrees. With the humidity it feels hotter, but I just like the fact I can can get up early, and it is cool enough to take a walk without breaking a sweat not because of exercise, but because of heat.

We have fine weather here except for rain in the evening. Since we are in the tropical country, the heat is bearable but again going out under the hot sun causes the skin to age faster. Normally when the heat is at its peak I'll keep indoors and blast the airconditioning.

As of today we have a nice weather but usually on this time of year we still have the rainy days until the early part of December. It has been raining the past weeks but today i can say that it is a nice sunny day. But there are days that it gets so hot during the day that you won't even want to come out of where you are.

Hi Hatley... Well, since I come from a tropical country where it's almost always hot or err... wet... I guess I can say it's a pretty warm day. Lol. I'm not sure if it's the change in climate but the weather here has changed. Usually when October and November set in, it's cool... but for some reason, it's still hot when December comes around. (Global Warming???) Cool days set in on January and February then the rainy season comes in.

Goodness...it's that hot there? Here in NY its been delightfully cool here...my type of weather, but while I prefer the cooler weather, it's been chilly at night as our glorious landlord hasn't turned the heat on yet...but I have great blankets to keep me warm when I sleep...my two kitties...LOL

We must be getting some of your weather. It was rainy, wet and sultry today. Very hot! When it's hot like that I feel clammy and have to take a shower. Then when I'm in an air conditioned room, I feel very cold!

Not here, Hatley. It was in fact quite chilly most of the day. About 4:00, the sun suddenly came out strong and it got very warm in my apartment. I opened the windows and it quickly cooled down.

Hi hatley! I'm reporting from sunny NY! It is definitely not unseasonably warm here! It is in the 50's and is supposed to dip into the 30'3 tonight! Not exactly fun sleeping weather when the landlord hasn't turned on the heat yet! And even if it was turned on my apartment is still freezing all winter long so I'm just getting a taste of the long freeze to come! I seem to be less and less able to take even the slightest bit of chilly air lately so I am totally dreading the really cold temps that we are in for. I don't know if I will ever be able to stand it this year. Between my osteoarthritic knees and joints I may not want to venture outside until spring!

Its warm here for a change. Hurray, I'm not ready for the snowy Utah winters yet. I wish this Indian summer could last forever, but I fear the summer is over. Thanks for posting and enjoy the heat while it lasts. Happy Mylotting

It was hot here today. It was near 80 degrees. We had some rain come in though and it cooled things down quite a bit. We had our air conditioning on today too but I had to turn it off while ago because it got cool in here.

Prescott Arizona is having normal, breezy temperatures. It is a welcome relief from the summer heat I can tell you. * I sympathize with you as I don't like the heat. During winter, you can bundle up to keep warm, but when your too hot, you can't do all that much except turn on an air conditioner.

Today is looking as if it will be a beautiful day, but a couple of days ago we had a real shock when we went out in the morning as we discovered that the windscreen was iced over! Brrrrr! It wasn't what we were expecting at all, so we weren't at all prepared and had to go rummaging around for something to scrape it clear with. Of course, the wonderful thing about the climate here is that it warms up again as soon as the sun is up though, so we did end up having a warm day.
