all of you to give your life to Jesus Christ.
We are living in very uncertain and scary times right now. We cannot put our trust in the government, banks, wall street, etc. They will let us down. God will never let us down!
As a Christian, I believe it is very important to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to this broken world. We need good news and the best news is that Jesus Christ loves you and He died so that you and I might be saved from our sins. There is nothing you have done that He cannot forgive! Just come to Him as you are!
If you discovered the cure for cancer, you wouldn't keep it to yourself. You would take it to those suffering from cancer. We DO have a cure for sin which is far worse than any cancer! The cure for sin is Jesus Christ!
I pray that many of you will come to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. It will be the most important decision you will ever make in your lifetime! Don't put it off! We are not promised a tomorrow. Our world seems to be getting worse everyday and we need Jesus Christ. Without Him, there is no real hope.
God bless all of you!

Sorry, someone else already invited me, and I gladly accepted their invitation for salvation. Actually Jesus in the only cure for cancer, AID's and the like. He was already wounded for our transgression, bruised for our iniquities and by his STRIPES we are healed. If anyone doesn't have an idea of how much he suffered and gave so much of his life to us, I invite them to watch the movie "The Passion of the Christ" by Mel Gibson.
It is because of the beatenings he endured that gives us a right to a wholeness in life. Healing, prosperity, soundness of mind, peace and most importantly LOVE.
Yes if you don't know him, please find a bible or go to understandjesus .org for a better understanding of him and how to receive the FREE gift of eternal life and salvation.
Your next step is to get involved with a local church that will teach you about the word of God and help you with your relationship with Jesus.
Have a blessed and victorious day!

I commend you for doing and posting this discussion. I have already offered myself to Jesus. I know that I received Jesus in my life. I have a very good life now because of Jesus. He has made it more colorful and meaningful. I also want to share my faith to all the people especially the youth of today. Thank you for the invitation. Hope more would accept the invitation and not just pretend not to hear anything.

Thanks, dear sister in Christ, for your guts to stand up for the Message of Jesus Christ. He is the only Solution to the problems we face today. He is our only Escape, our answer from the Heart of the Father.
Don't wait too late. If you are in this thread, and you have not gotten your heart right with the Saviour, please do so. Your life will continue to cascade downhill if you don't, and you will have unspeakable torture and pain throughout Eternity if you don't. I am not saying that as a threat, I am saying it out of love. Please don't wait until tomorrow. As the songwriter has said, "Who promised you tomorrow?"
Springlady, my wife uses the "cure for cancer" analogy alot to express the need for Christians to be about the business of the Father, witnessing for Him before it's too late. I am glad to see a Saint about her Father's business.
Praise God!

Thank you for the inspirational words. I believe that we all need God not just at times of trouble but even at times of joy. We should share every moment of our life with Him. I always been a believer of Christ. I am not perfect but i see to it that i asked for forgiveness everytime i did something wrong. I wanted to be closer to God coz all this time i was protected by Him. Everything that i achieved in my life i owe it to God. I just hope that everyone of us will start reflecting and start knowing God better. Not just remember him at times of trouble but letting Him live inside our hearts forever.

i think the better statement here is - where will you spend eternity? you don't know when you will die and well eternity is a well, eternity. i have my heavenly insurance policy! how about you?
you say, all my friends will be there and we can party - well that may not be the case Matt 13:50 says "and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

you gladened my heart! this is the best news one ever spread on earth, Jesus is real, He is coming very soon. Heavy Storm is coming very soon and everybody will know that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. I am a christian, born again by His grace and He Jesus has been so wonderful to me. He has been blessing me and my family. We have to get prepared very well because He is coming back again. I keep on asking myself why all these technology, communication here and there, but the answer I get was that all are for good, they are meant for the anouncement for the appearing of the son of man. they will also be used to announce rapture which will soon take place, infact i am happy for your discussion.
Jesus is real! He is coming back again, so soon, very soon.
thanks.

Amen to that! I admire your boldness springlady! I hope every Christian would be as bold as you. We really need to be 'forceful' men and women so we can advance God's kingdom in this fallen world. I am with you and let's pray that God will open their eyes and hearts.

What are you suggesting? The business you do with banks and wall street should be removed and taken else where. Whether you support or is against any government they are here to stay. I agree with you none can be trusted but to bring religion into this scenario I don't see how the people who have lost their homes, pension, life savings and investments will be helped materially. It is be the sins of the few who organized and rob the system to put the entire world in this position, if these are the people you are appealing to, it doesn't make sense, they don't have a heart. To those who have lost heavily, they will have to work harder and break their backs in their old age to survive, that is if they can ever recover and a lot of praying will be needed to comfort them. You have a lot of praying to do Springlady, wish you luck.

I think it's one of the most extraordinary intellectual scams of human history, how everyone gives Jesus all this extra credit! Even atheists tend to think of Jesus as at least a good moral teacher. But read the book! Read the passages objectively. Step outside your cultural conditioning.Stop distorting many of his dubious teachings into presumed pearls of wisdom.
Stop making excuses for Jesus, simply because you want or need to believe in an ideal man. Believe in some of the ideals you've seen in Jesus, yes, believe in those ideals, but don't believe in Jesus as that ideal man, because I don't think he was. Jesus as a whole doesn't cut it; only parts of him do. You can believe, for example, in the spirit of generosity, without believing in Santa Claus. You can believe in love and compassion, without believing in Jesus. Don't tie the reality of a spiritual quality to the reality of a myth describing it. That's immature.
Rejecting Jesus as the Son of God does not mean rejecting some of the good values he espoused, although that is exactly the box Christianity tries to lock you into. Christianity does NOT have a monopoly on good spiritual values, nor is it the source of them.
I say follow the dictates of compassion and common sense. I believe in a different God,a tolerant God, who is deeply dishonored by those who claim Jesus and the Bible represent him.

Thanks for the invitation. I have already given my life to Jesus Christ and give my burdens to him in prayer on a daily basis. No, life is not perfect and no one ever promised a bed of roses, but you can rely on the fact that Jesus Christ will help you through the bad times. Everyone sins and you will be forgiven of those sins - all you have to do is ask. Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today because tomorrow may not come. Give your life to the Lord! Best wishes!

thank you, springlady! i also am a born-again believer, and you are right about Jesus being the only hope for us. :) i have a husband and father who are unsaved and that scares me. being a christian in today's world is not an easy thing. i give you lots of credit for your discussion, and your choice to not care about what others may say but to spread the Word regardless. :)
