My children stopped wetting the bed shortly after they toilet-trained themselves. Your child is probably so deeply asleep they won't wake up, and probably dreaming of water or something. Be sure he or she toilets before bedtime and no water an hour before. That will train their body to hold whatever is in there till morning, I would think. Please don't belittle them or yell at them, they can't help it. Good luck!

Hi there Mash!
I have a 5 year old who still wets the bed and we're currently working on it by making him go to the toilet to pee before he sleeps every night.

i have a 12 years old son and it is not always he pee on the bed, but he will pee if he play too much at night and forget to pee in the rest room before getting into bed. i get irritated when he wet the bed but i know that he didnt mean it but i hate the smell that irritates my nose and also i have an additional work to do because of what he done.

My son is 6. Just teach them to take a leak just before bedtime. This exercise will to reduced the bed wetting and slowly your child will learn to it. It takes me a few months or so until here not wet the bed no more.

Ever since my daughter got potty trained at age 2 and stopped going to bed with diapers on she has never wet the bed, she is 4 now. So I wouldn't know how to handle it. But I have heard that bed wetting in older children could be a sign of a medical problem. Maybe taking him/her to the doctor and getting his opionion on it.
