I live in California and almost EVERYBODY has been to Disneyland. I've always been curious if it's such a big deal for other people. Please state where you are from and how many times you've been to D-Land!

I live from the other side of the world, Philippines, and I haven't been to Disneyland yet. Well, the nearest one we have would be Disneyland in Hongkong or in Tokyo. But I really would want to go to Disneyland in the states. Not that big of a deal. Just wanted to visit other places and parks.

Ah yes, I forgot about international Disneylands. But the one in CA is the original (and in my heavily biased opinion) the best. :) Thanks for your response.

Hi, how I wish I live near Disneyland . I'm from the Philippines no Disneyland here only Disney Channel . The nearest is Hongkong Disneyland but it's still far and expensive to go. I'm saving for Disneyland or maybe just wishing for Disneyland.

I am from Utah. I just got back from Disneyland a few weeks ago. My Hubby and I are annual pass holders. Our neighbors are too, as are my Mom, my Grandma, and a lot of the rest of my family. We are Disney nuts. Every time I go there I see people from Utah. I have often wondered if it is half locals and half Utahans. I guess we will see. Thank you for this interesting discussion.

Well, I've lived in a lot of places. California included. When I was in CA, I went to Disneyland once w/ my middle school marching band. We did Disney's Magic Music Days in 1989. I've been to Disney World a LOT more. My parents' families are in Florida. We went to Disney World at least once a year till I was about 12, and I went again when I was 20 with some friends (which was an absolute blast).

Hi there ! I live in Bucharest, Romania so i am pretty far even from the Disneyland in France. I am wishing to visit is since i heard of it, more than 10 years ago... i would say it's a big deal for me. I may have an explanation for you as to why it doesn't seem a big deal to you - your living next to it... so in your subconscious you know that it's always there if you would want to visit it and you always say you'll do it later - i have seen this kind of reasoning to people who live in the cities next to the sea that act the same with going to the beach.
