Till this day I can never forget how I felt the first time I saw snow in my life. It was 4 years back and in a foreign land. I was in Japan and it rarely snows at the place where I was. It was the last day of the year and we had a party at a friend's place. When we were walking back early morning to our home just a few lanes away, I felt the clouds showering white on us ! I was thrilled, ecstatic, mad and so happy. I touched the snow as if it was some wonder, took snaps of all over the place. It really brought out the child in me.

Hi Serenidity, my first time seeing snow is about 4 years back. That's when the time i have been assigned to do on a project at customer site at Florida. That moment is around Dec, just 1 or 2 weeks just before Christmas. My counterpart have drove us to a place call Lake Tahoe, that's the place where i expose to the snow and the ski area. The feeling was so great as i never have chance to hold the snow in my country. Such a wonderful feeling that moment. Thanks for reminding me the sweet memories.

I am from east Tx where it very rarely snows. If we do get snow it is just enough to dust the ground. But about 5 years ago I moved to New York and that is where I saw my first real snow. I had always wanted to make a snow angel and ran out to do just that. and what happened next is I got stuck buried down in the snow and had to have a couple friends help me out. I didn't realize exactly how deep the snow gets in New York. lol. I have recently moved back to east Tx. and after 5 years of living in NY I can safely say I do not miss the snow at all. It gets old after a while.!

The first time I did see and feel snow in my hands was in April of 2006 when I went to Canada with my father. We went to the St Joseph Cathedral and the ground was still covered with thick snow. A few days after coming back from Ottawa, there was a snow storm in Montreal and nearby cities, so I went out with my sister and played the snow in my hands, jumping, dancing and posing for camera as my sister and her hubby took pictures. It was really a great and exciting experience. My sister and her hubby told me that it's very rare to have the snow during that time of the year, but I guess my father and I are lucky enough to still experience the snow. After 2 weeks, we moved to Vancouver area and there was no snow, but still the weather is still cold. I miss that experience, coz here in our country, we don't have winter season and no snow.

The first time I ever saw snow I was 8 years old. I was going to New York to meet my new grandparents. I had just been adopted. We lived in Texas. Anyhow, when we got off the plane, the tarmac was frozen and I slipped and landed on my bottom. The snow was almost as deep as I was tall. I remember the ride to my grandparents house because there was a child sitting outside on a large boulder with no clothes on? Did I mention the snow was as deep as I was tall? Brrrrrrr. Snow is beautiful. However, here in the South, it really makes everyone panic. We aren't prepared for it like they are up North.

It was month of April of this year. It was when I arrived here in the states. My hubby took me to the Mt Spokane where bundle of snows were still there and did not melt. I was very excited to see and play with the snow, it was cold though. Now that winter is coming, I am getting excited again and worried because for sure it will be very cold again.

Oh!!!I was thrilled the first time I saw snow flakes dropping. It was 2 years ago when I first arrived here in US. I can't believe I am watching the real snow falling hahaha.. I usually see snow in movies but at that time I am so excited that I keep on transferring from one window to another to see the snow falling. I did not go out and play with it because I felt cold. Wow!! I saw the branches of the trees all covered with snow and the ground looks like salt.. gleaming white. I love it....

When my friend asked me, "Is there anything you want to do now which you have never done before?", one of the things which popped into my head was to touch and feel a snow. Admittedly, I have always dreamed of building my own snowman or throwing snowballs just for the sake of fun. I know that for people who have grown up with winter as one of their seasons, this thought might not excite them at all. But for me, who has lived in a tropical country for 24 years, touching a snow will definitely be one tangible proof that i have somehow gone outside the comforts (or the contrary) of a sunny weather. And this experience would definitely merit a space in my blogs, too.=)

I think I was about five years old. We had just moved way out in the east part of the city and there were only a couple of inches but I can remember someone making a miniature snowman on top of a car. I have a vague picture of the house but I clearly remember that mini snow man.

yes snow is really amazing and the first snow of the season really makes me enjoy a lot. i had seen snow in germany that is where i am staying now and i had experienced it for the first time when i had landed here the night and the morning i got up and saw the snow and it was really pretty. when i had landed it was just a little snow and then later i could find more and more and it really seems to be good but very very cold. it is nice to enjoy and we also had gone to some places in germany where there is skiing and fun games. and when we had visited to switzerland we could find the snow covered mountains and it is really fabuluous and amazing and i cant just tell out or express the beauty there. i think you will understand better if you had visited there. it was a fabuluous experience and expiriencing nature in switzerland cant be found anywhere else.
