I don't like to trust in invisible things like god, but sometimes happens situations when i am saying Thank god. I am not religious person and don't go to the church. In my opinion religion was made to manipulate people. People must to trust in something other ways they won't have a goal to live. I don't trust in live after dead as soon as my brain will dead everything will be gone. What are you thinking about all this?

I think truth matters. And as far as God and religion is concerned, whether we believe or not should not be the question, in my opinion. The question is, on what basis have you arrived at your belief system? Have you honestly and wholeheartedly pursued the truth and examined the evidence to be convinced one way or the other? Personally, I feel there is nothing more important than truth. When we pursue truth, I believe, it will ultimately lead us into the best direction for our lives, and the best understanding of what life really is all about.

I'm with you, although sometimes I envy the huge amount of faith people have in a god But, I have thoughts and that can really screw with the faith thing.

I feel you with that envy. I have been looking into religion for myself, but have found that I am too cynical. I don't think that I can just start believing in something. When I look at certain people who have such faith in god I do feel a little envy because I would like to feel comforted like that, but I cannot bring myself to believe or worship... in any religion not just Christianity.
